Jeannie Discher : JAD

JAD, better known to us as Jeannie Discher, is no stranger to members of AFA. Her kind spirit, good humour, and generosity are well-known. She's also no stranger to making art - she's been making beautiful art for quite a while. "I have been doing home made gifts, collage and greetings cards for over 30 years", she tells us. She was introduced to atcs by a friend, and there was no turning back for Jeannie. Loving beauty of all kinds, no art material is off limits to our friend. Paints, markers, beeswax, stamps, charms, fibers, papers, glitter and glitz - all materials are welcome in her artwork. Jeannie enjoys making chunky pages and inchies, and among her favourite themes are angels, butterflies, Christmas, and sunflowers - bright, happy themes that perfectly reflect our fellow artist's sunny self. The AFA Book Project

The staff and owners of AFA have decided that we are publishing a book! All site members will get the opportunity to be showcased in an 'eye-candy' book of swaps and themed ATCs. That's right- -we are all going to be published artists!!!! Going along with our inclusive nature of the site, each member who submits will have at least one piece show up in our book. Additionally, we will feature a series of swap galleries from the site.

For more information, go to the main project thread.
