Dallas/Fort Worth Atc's was formed last year for live monthly meet-ups in the Dallas/Fort Worth (Texas) Metroplex. Our meet-ups are normally held on the second Sunday of every month. The schedule may change accordingly for holidays or scheduled events. If you need directions or addresses to any of the listed locations please let me know.

Do we have a theme yet?

haven't been to one yet but March 9th will work this time :) so many times I have a goat meeting or something going on.

anywhere around Fort Worth works for me. Even Dallas once in a while

I may be working again that weekend, which works out great since you will only be a few minutes away from work!

Glad to see people finding the thread!

We don't have a theme for March. I myself cannot commit to making 9 cards BUT I will be more than happy to make what I can in a specific theme. I will also have whatever availables and second gens I have to bring. Suggestions on a theme or do ya'll want to forgo it?

I will be so nice to see you again Goatgoddess! I think the last time I saw you was at a craftster meet up waaay back.

blueskysunburn

Bummer you'll be in Houston OY! Hopefully you will be able to make it next month.

That will be great if you can make it again Teri! It was so nice to catch up!

I know I have seen Electablue around here. Not sure if Dhawktx has made it here yet.

I am here! I will try to be there on March 9th. It would be great to meet Goatgoddess in person and see Teri and Jennifer, but it is too bad OY won't be there.

blueskysunburn

Sounds good! I hope you can make it! I think I'm going to email the people in the yahoo group and see if anyone is still interested in participating. If not I might dissolve that.

So do ya'll want to do some themed atcs or just trade availables for last time.

ElectaBlue
02-21-2008, 07:35 PM
I kind of like just trading availables, but I am open to whatever others want.

Were we going to do a supply trade still?

blueskysunburn
02-21-2008, 11:30 PM
I'm good with just availables.

I always have extra stuff to trade out. You can count me in the supply trade!

dhawktx
02-21-2008, 11:44 PM
I made it! I made it! Isn't the new site grand? :jiggy:

So much going on, I won't have but a few to trade myself, but I'm looking forward to visiting and meeting new (to me) folks.

I'll bring supplies to trade AND I was able to source some 3 ring binder pages perfect for inchies (30 pockets per page), as well as itty bitty 1.5 x 1.5 sleeves that will work for them!

See y'all then! :D

I just realized that this meeting is this coming Sunday! I plan on being there, but I may have to drag my son along. I have been trying to tempt him with stopping at Krispy Kreme since we don't have one anywhere near home.

I am gathering some supplies together to trade, but I am going to have just a few new cards that I didn't have the last time.

Donna, I just realized that I never responded about the pages for inchies. I can't wait to see what they look like.

I would love to trade some inchies, too, if people have any extras like I do.

I'll miss you guys! We aren't leaving Houston til about 2pm, so there's no way I'll make it. Since I'm not driving (or paying for gas) I can't argue too much.

Have a fab meet-up!

Jen, we should get together some night this month, considering we only live about a mile from each other.

Ha! Too funny!

I haven't got anything ready either. I don't think I have a single new card that isn't made for a swap.

Are their certain supplies ya'll would like to trade for? I have a TON - this and that.
I don't think I would be able to bring everything. I'd have to make too many trip back to the car!!

I'm kind of hoping the weather sucks so bad tomorrow that we can't drive to Houston for the trip. Then I'd be able to see you guys on Sunday! My cousin would be sad that we missed her birthday party too....and I've never been to a Peter Pan birthday before! :)

I have an art therapy meeting on Saturday and I have to work on Sunday...boo. FYI there is an amazing scrapbook supply sale at Plano Centre on Spring Creek. I was there today and I found a pack of vellum for 3 bucks, 10 6 x 6 journals for 5 bucks, everything is super cheap and they have a huge selection! It is worth a trip if you have time. Tomorrow is the last day.

We should do a DFW Texas group 4x4 book, and bind it all together when we meet up in April! Who wants to play? I know me and Lisa and GG are all 4x4 fanatics....anyone else?

I'm game to do another book but I have two on my list right now so April would be waaay too soon. I assume we would be making a page for each person participating right? It would be cool to have one just for our group.

I'm playing with the idea of getting a bind-it-all for my journals. If I get one I can bring it up to punch the pages. If not I suppose we could just swap pages. I know kinkos will bind them for you.

*sad, but brave* I'll be there in spirit. My heart is never far from The Lone Star State...*weeps*

....and I've never been to a Peter Pan birthday before! :) Ya'know, it is SO TEMPTING to make a joke about this like, "What! You've never been to one of those reunion frat parties?" But, I'm above that...

:arghh:Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

ElectaBlue

I think the 4x4 would be a fantastic idea! I am always game for making more. I am actually in 5 chunky book swaps right now that are due in April and May (yes, I do realize that I AM crazy) and only have one left to do.

I also have extra pages that I made for a few swaps that had fewer players than expected if anyone wants to just trade a few pages. I am also going to bring my extra inchies if anyone is interested in trading those.

Jennifer, it is hard to say what I am most interested in. I am one of those "I know it when I see it people." What I did is just packed up a box with a selection of all kinds of things I have way too much of like beads, ribbon, tiny worry dolls, mermaid bone charms, scrapbooking paper, some fabric, etc. I had taken a bunch of stuff to work to trade and then the group fell apart so it is pretty much just that stuff. I know you mentioned you have alcohol inks you were willing to give away and I was really interested in those.

I don't have a Zutter, but I have used my friend's and I really wish I had one.

Sarah, is there any news on your trip to Houston? It would be great if you could make it on Sunday! I don't have work and my son doesn't have school today, which is great, except that I staff the library's online reference desk so I am working right now from home!

As for theme, we could do it like a PAT swap and each person could choose a theme. Of course, those always end up being more effort so it might be too much.

crazycat - you should come down one of these mths and check out your old stomping grounds :)

the lady that works with me had a bad fall down her stairs and broke her neck she's going to be ok (thank goodness it could have been much much worst!!!) but will be out mending for at least six weeks which means my work just doubled so I don't have much made either - but will bring what I have and some stuff to trade - I'm such a hoarder it's really hard for me to share <lol> but I'm sure there is something I can trade :)

I think doing a local book is a wonderful idea

..

Maybe we can combine with the NTMM group next month? Livia, LisaVollrath are active there, among others. Everyone could just make pages to trade, on a theme. I've been wanting to find a good day to get the different local groups together to play with paper crafts. Craftsters, Etsians, NTMM and ATCers would be really cool! Emphasis can be on paper crafts, altered books, ATCs, and chunky books.

Maybe I'll plan an event; I'm sure we could probably use my church. A Saturday 10-3 or something would be really fun! Bluesky lives so close, I can make her help me. ;)

goatgoddess
03-07-2008, 02:57 PM

I would be happy to help plan that with you! Same for me as goatgoddess - I have to work a lot at the end of the month on the weekends.

Lisa - I think pat 4x4s would be cool idea too. With the group so small, we wouldn't have to make too many at once.

OY, sorry you won't be there with us. :( Maybe next month...

I have yet to do a 4x4 and you all know I am interested after all the questions I asked you at the last meet up! LOL I don't think I could get them done by April. Maybe we could spread it out over a couple months? I'm not sure how these work so I could be way off base.

I will be going through my stuff tonight and tomorrow. I know my husband will be thrilled when he sees me take stuff out of my room to give away...it is gonna be hard to explain if I bring stuff back in...

Supposedly, my older sister wants to take a road trip sometime after my nephew graduates in May. We would be going to the Paris area, but I think once I'm down there I could cut loose long enough to come by for a visit. I have been toying with the idea of parting ways in Paris and driving down to Austin and since there are about a dozen people I'd like to see (most of them y'all) then I think I can be on hand for a get together.

goatgoddess
03-07-2008, 10:01 PM

To my knowledge, nobody has ever been banned from the local mixed-media group.

If you were removed from the group, it was probably because you didn't respond to Livia's requests for a response. Periodically, she does a poll asking for all members to check in and tell us we're still alive and reading group mail. Anyone who doesn't respond to that poll within the month it's posted is removed---but the system automagically sends you an email message letting you know that you're welcome back if you've been removed in error.

We had a lovely meeting on Saturday, with 11 members attending and sharing artwork. We'd love to add more local folks who are willing to be active in the group!

Next month's meeting is at Livia's house. We're making no-sew art dolls, and her husband is firing up the smoker and cooking us lunch---and boy, does he know how to cook. Join up, and c'mon to the meeting.

blueskysunburn
03-09-2008, 03:38 PM
Are removed and banned not the same thing? I don't familiarize myself with the yahoo groups too much I figured they were. I don't recall getting an automated response. It probably went to the junk email.

All for the better anyway, I was not an active member of the group, probably still would not be if I joined again. I only checked in occasionally to see when the meet ups were.

blueskysunburn
03-09-2008, 03:38 PM
Woo hoo! Goatgoddess is gonna make it!

lisavollrath
03-09-2008, 03:58 PM
Removed is simply being dropped from the group. You can rejoin any time. A lot of group mods clean out their group memberships by dropping members who have ceased to be active, or whose email address is bouncing messages.

Banned is permanently losing your ability to ever access the group again. It's an action that most list mods reserve for spammers and people who violate group rules. It's not something that would ever be done to someone who simply doesn't have time to respond to group messages.

And yes, if you're not interested in being an active, participating member, we're probably not the right group for you right now. We've already had more than our share of lurkers come and go---we're looking for people to come out and play with! It's so much more fun now that our monthly meetings are more than just the same five people over and over again. We actually had to reconsider one of our usual meeting spots yesterday, because we realized we are now too large for their largest conference room. :swoon:

blueskysunburn
03-09-2008, 07:23 PM
Thank you for clarifying Lisa.

I had a blast meeting with everyone today! It was great seeing everyone again! We should definitely do the supply swap again next month. I have tons more stuff to get rid of.

Oh and I got the ok from my hubby to get the bind-it-all today since they had it in stock! So I can bring it to punch holes if we do our group chunky book!

teri

I had a great time too! It was nice to see Lisa, Donna, & Jennifer again. I was pleased to meet goatgoddess, finally! I can't thank Jennifer enough for letting me oogle her art journals. I was totally engrossed in them so I hope I didn't miss some exciting converstation. LOL How cool that you are getting the bind-it-all! Did we talk about having the chunky book swap? I remember Ikea, husbands, cool art, goat milk...no, I don't remember the chunky book. :) I'm ready to do one. I think I'll cut some blank mat board (is that a good base?) and get ready to start.

I'm looking forward to next month...

blueskysunburn
03-09-2008, 08:04 PM
Lol, you didn't miss it Teri! We didn't talk about it today. It was mentioned earlier in the thread. I think it would be fun! I believe several people are for it. A few mentioned April being a little too soon for a deadline if we are making a page for all that are participating. Maybe May?

I'm using mat board for my Marie Antoinette book and 140 lb watercolor paper for my monster book. I plan on sewing on the pages for the latter book and don't want to take a chance messing up my machine.

Donna - OY created a great thread that has pretty much anything you need to know about chunky books. Here's the link (http://www.atcsforall.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1294)

For the May meet-up I was thinking about moving the location a little closer to Lisa and Donna. Not sure of the exact location but I am working on mapping everyone's locations this evening and some locations of possible places to meet-up. I have locations for a couple of Michaels, a place called Great Scraps?, and Scrapbook Barn. I tried looking for Half Price books but the locations it pulled up were on the other side of their area and REALLY far away for everyone else. Anyone have any ideas of places in the Flower Mound/Lewisville area that might let a group meet?

blueskysunburn
03-14-2008, 01:03 AM
Okay - So who all is in for the chunky book? I will have some free time this weekend and am ready to go!

I can make a list of people in the first post so we can keep everything straight. How does the May meetup sound for the due date since April was a little close? Also, are we swapping whatever pages we happen to have or doing a PAT? Majority rules

I vote pat - :)

dhawktx
03-15-2008, 05:04 PM
Blueskysunburn: Thanks for letting me know about the thread!

After looking at that eye-candy, I am soooo in!

May is good for me...

I'd prefer a single theme to a PAT - something Spring or Texas themed (or both!). The fairy theme was sweet also...

Off to see "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day"...it won't be in theaters long so don't miss it!

second weekend will be May 10 - I have a buck (goat) show that weekend that I'm running so can't make it then - in fact the only weekend I think that is free is the
17th :skeptical: hubby has a mini class reunion the 24th which I'm not thrilled with as the 25th is my birthday and I had played with the idea of doing something - well more special than his class reunion any ways

but love the idea of chunky pages - PAT or Theme - maybe I can send them with someone.

Bummer on not being able to make it! You have such a busy schedule! I don't think I would be able to keep up with everything you do! Hopefully you will be able to make the June meet-up. On the chunky book pages you can mail them to me if you'd like and I can swap them out for you or I'm sure others won't mind trading out for yours in June.

I will mark you down for yes on the chunky book and put you down as PAT or themed for your vote. Okay - who else is in?

Ditto.... I think we need themes ASAP so me, the slow one, can get started. :) I like a Goddess theme. I particularly like this symbol: Pocket Goddess (http://www.artwithaheart.com/playwithclay/goddess.html).

Counts are - PAT 4/Themed 2. Haven't heard from OY if she is going to participate but one vote wouldn't be enough to sway the it at this point anyway. Everyone be sure to turn in your theme ASAP so others can get started. They will be due at the meetup May 11th.

I already have ideas forming for yours Teri!

OriginalYouth

Bluesky, a PAT is fine with me too. We need a regular (closed to new people) swap thread for this, do you want to open one and I can put it directly into 'ACTIVE mail art'?. Just open it as a 'small group PAT' chunky book swap, with each of us listed as participants. If you don't want to 'host' it, I don't mind.

We need to have it 'open media', (but personally I'd prefer a 'no digital' stipulation).

If it is a PAT, you are all 'locked in' to show up or have your pages mailed to the host before the deadline, so everyone can see them that day.... if you get sick, either mail before, or you'll have to send each page individually to each other player. PLEASE try not to do this, as it will cost everyone more cash to mail.

I'd like to make it open to the other locals (Livia, LisaVollrath, and MaggieB) if possible.

My theme is 'art supplies'. Pick one (markers, paintbrushes, crayons, paints, glue, scissors) and make a page around the theme (and using it if you can!) Try to use RED and turquoise, if possible.

Thanks for organizing that, Jennifer.

I talked to the mods and admin, and everyone is fine how we are doing it. Since it is a PAT, we will be able to leave itraders, so you are all 'locked' into your theme.

I'll watch for our swap thread!

Here's the link to the thread -DFW Chunky Book Pick-A-Theme (http://atcsforall.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2088).

Hey guys I was thinking the supply swapping was so much fun we should do it each time we come. It would be a great way to clear out our stuff and keep fresh things and ideas coming in. Ya'll in for that?

Also, last time was a bit hectic, not sure I got to see even half the stuff before it was traded out. Any ideas on how that might work a little better? Maybe we could all rotate or each person can pick one thing from one person at a time?

Lisa - I found two more packages of the tags that go with the tag maker (fell behind the shelf). I will bring them for you next time.

ElectaBlue
03-18-2008, 12:25 PM
I think having a more organized swap would be a good idea. Maybe we could lay out all the things on a table and then people could take turns picking one thing from each other person. That way everyone would get a chance to pick what they would really like.

I still haven't used that tag maker. I think I might try doing some for some chunky books and see how it works.

Supply swapping sounds great!

Did you guys forget that May 11 is Mother's Day? Does anyone have a conflict?

Honestly, I can't think of a better way to spend my afternoon than with you guys, so I should be able to come. I see my fam everyday, so spending time with art stuffs will be a treat!

I'm fine to make it that day if we keep the date.

ElectaBlue

I was hoping to drive up to DFW for a few days, stay with someone, and meet everyone before heading back to Indianapolis--maybe like the 31st (arrive that night) till the 2nd? I didn't realize May 11th was Mother's Day!! We can move that one no problem if it's a conflict. I still haven't found a place for us to meet-up (still welcoming suggestions too ;)). I was sick as a dog this weekend (doctor told me I have shingles, fun, oh fun) so I didn't get to do half the stuff I had planned.

It would be awesome getting to meet you adriayna!! We can bump the May one back or move the June one forward too (heck I'd be in for adding an additional meet-up, might be easier if we're planning a "mega meet-up").

Your page turned out great Andrea! I can't wait to see it in person!

I will not be able to have all my pages done in time for Aprils meetup. I tried - I have the majority of my ideas sketched (the ideas are the slow part for me :embarrassed:). I need to execute them now. I have two pages I need to think about a bit longer. Does anyone know how to make a slide?

Lisa and Sarah - I was beginning to have my doubts about you two and Big Lots. I have gone there so many times but come out empty handed. Last night I hit paydirt! I found fibers and the daggley things to go off the edges of chunky books for a $1 a piece!

Sorry to have missed it - but I did the right thing staying home - the doe had a dead baby jammed that I had to help her have - then her next two were so turn and twisted it took some doing to get them out - but thankfully they were born alive - wasn't sure the little girl would make it but they are both up and nursing and mom is fine - was very worried something might get torn with all the "helping" I had to.

Another doe just had her babies about a hour now ago - twins and all are doing well. one doe had two yesterday and the day before a single.
I need to hit the bed - thankfully no more babies for a couple of weeks.

I thought I had mentioned I would be updating the first post but I may have just been thinking it. So, surprise! The meet-up after that is going to be in Hurst? Can't remember the exact location off the top of my head.

I was trying to make it closer to Lisa for that meetup since she has been driving an hour each time we get together. We can always change it but this was the only place in that area that was suggested/recommended. I don't know the area at all!!

I made a map of everyone's homes (except for Teri, I accounted for home and work) and did little "pins" for each person. I also did "pins" for locations to meet up. I will post a link for it tonight so everyone can see. :) I was trying to make it so no one has to drive more than 45 minutes but I thinks it's going to be hard since we are all so far apart. :(

Woo hoo! Chunkies to look at!

Oh! Before I forget - ground rules for trading supplies tomorrow. It got a little hectic last time and hopefully these will help with that. If you can think of others or if I need to clarify anything, please speak up. :)

1) - Let's not trade until 3pm. This way everyone has a chance to trade if people are running late.

2) - Trade one item from one person at a time. Example - I trade for one item with Lisa. I cannot trade her for another item until everyone else has had a chance to do so.

3) - Don't forget to share bulk items inside a bag, box or other storage container when trading. Also, please contain items in smaller boxes or bags when bringing items to trade (if possible).

goatgoddess
04-12-2008, 11:02 PM

I'm just planning on bringing those, my chunkies, and the pages for you guys.....also, some monochrom 4x4s to work on. I'm not even bringing my ATC books, unless there is a particular set of cards you guys want to see.

OY, you don't want to bring it all?? I think what you are bringing is fine. Do you have any cards or second gen cards to trade?

Last time several of us had inchies to trade, but we didn't because we didn't realize it. Is anyone bringing any this time? I am not sure where mine are...

I am bringing things to trade, my chunky book pages and book from swaps I was in, and my monochromatic chunky book stuff to work on, that I will probably not work on because I always end up talking or whatever. I have a couple of the pages partly done so I thought I would bring those for your input.

I am actually going to bring my rolling scrapbooking bag that I never use because it is embarrasing to wheel that thing around, but this seems like the perfect time to break it out since I end up dragging so much to these meetings.

It was a lot of fun. Even the confusion about the meeting place didn't slow us down and I actually enjoyed meeting at Borders more than the Scrapbooking store because the tables were smaller and it was easier to talk and hear what everyone was saying.

I wish we all lived closer so we could spend more time talking and creating instead of driving!

The funny thing is that I meant to mention that those Japanese book pages might be inappropriate, as well. I didn't realize until after I had it for some time and used a bunch of pages that it was some sort of "hygiene" manual for kids that discusses love, marriage and children as far as I could tell from the diagrams.

I am not so sure how I ended up with so many inappropriate items! I am a good girl, really I am!

Too funny! I didn't put it all together. I agree the beads were pretty obvious. I didn't get any of the manual pages. I think I got a couple of music ones.

I wondered about the camera too OY. I thought it was kind of odd you brought the camera only to take a picture of our mess.

I guess borders doesn't seem to care if groups meet there. I gathered from the ladies behind us they meet there pretty regularly. I really liked the smaller tables. It was nice to hear all the discussions - even when there are multiples at once!

LOL, I'm quite embarrassed that I had to make ya'll tell me what the beads were! I wasn't sure if it was my eyes or my somewhat unclean mind that was imagining things... I'm thinking about making a necklace with those beads to wear to work and see if anyone notices. I'll have to practice my appalled look for when someone says what they look like...

Maybe we should include various Borders locations in our 'rotation' and check out others? I know that some don't have as many tables, or as large, so we'd have to check 'em out first!

HeavenLeigh Escape (http://www.heavenleighescape.com/Home_Page.html)

It is reasonable at $120 for 3 days and 2 nights. From the looks of the calendar they are very popular. Don't read the "About Us", it'll make you cry. I saw pics of goats too. :) We would need at least 10 people, if we go.

I just thought we might rather do the slumber party thing with Dana here, rather than just do a 3 hour thing.... so I guess we can see what works for the group. We can always plan the sleepover thing for another time if we just want to stick to the Sunday meetup.

ElectaBlue

I am open to having a longer thing because I was already planning on taking time off work when Adriayna is here, anyway. We could always make it a longer thing and then people could just be there for parts of it if they can't make it for the whole time. We have enough trouble just getting people to meet for 2 hours that I can't imagine we could have a good time for everyone all the time.

I think we should plan a sleepover when we have this opportunity. I am really excited about it, myself.

I have a vac. days I can burn too - I'm up for a sleepover - might have to dash home to feed and milk the goaties so the Grandbury place would work better for me - only about 30-40 min from me :)

the other place looks wonderful too and once the goats aren't miking that would work. Would love to do a full weekend retreat someday - I've been looking around the web and just haven't found anything near by - thinking about Houston in Oct for the quilt show but not sure if it will work time wise - it would be great to org. our own - but more than a bit of work there.

Great minds think alike! I punched throught it with my crop-a-dile last night, too! I only got one piece, so it wouldn't work for the cover. The only thing I haven't been able to get it to punch through is this other plastic stuff I have that is thicker and less flexible. When I tried to punch it, it shattered.

My husband was standing out in the driveway until it started to rain. He was practicing his human lightening rod imitation. He is such a weather nut. The sirens were going off in every direction. We had lots of hail. It was coming in sideways on our front porch and a solid sheet of pellets floated off down the driveway. Actually, if I had those hours I would get to leave at 10am on Friday...that is sounding really good. I may just bring that up at the next leadership meeting...great idea!

The company that bought us is primarily petrochem engineering, and that is the schedule of the plants they work at (of course, the plants are working this 24/7, so their shifts overlap an hour, and there is no downtime for shiftchange).

Since it is only an hour extra every day, it's no great hardship, yet the goodwill from the 1/2 day on Friday really sweetens the deal. People were ambivalent when we switched to the sched this Jan, but now everybody enjoys it. The bonus has been that we come in 1/2 hr early and leave 1/2 hr later...we miss a lot of the cram of rush hour because we are either ahead of it, or the worst of it is past...

In case they have concerns about it, we do have a skeleton crew that works a full day Friday - on an 8 week rotation so nobody is particularly penalized.

Good luck convincing them, it's a sweet deal!

It's closer for everyone but Donna and Andrea. :) The manager was really nice, he was excited that we would come. The store is newly remodeled and looks great.

If you are coming from the South, I'd exit Denton Hwy off of 820. It's a few miles down, after you start seeing the nicer shopping centers, you are getting close. There's a Target, then the next block is Albertson's and the one AFTER has Michaels, with Kohls and Home Depot. There is a WINGS restaurant and a Sonic in the front by 377. All of this is on your RIGHT, as there are RR tracks on the left, parallel to 377.

If coming from the North on 377, you won't see much before you get there....after you pass the LA Fitness GYM (on your left side), it will be in the next shopping center on your left...you should be able to see Kohls, turn in there.
The street to the South of it is N. Tarrant Pkwy.

Where is your Dallas office? I work down at Mockingbird and I-35 but live up in Addison at the Tollway and Keller Springs.

Sorry you can't make it

My office is in Lakewood not far from downtown Dallas. It is at the corner of Gaston Ave. and Abrams Road I am in the Wells Fargo Building.

OMG! That is just TOOOOO funny! Until April last year I lived in Lakewood and went by that building twice a day on my commute!

What's a cross street in your neighborhood? I lived in a duplex on San Mateo for about a year and then an apt.on La Vista for a few years (both just off E Grand/Garland Rd). I really liked the older neighborhoods, just couldn't afford to live in a decent one - when my complex got really ghetto I finally up and moved to Addison.

If you're off Saturday, you want to maybe have a mini meetup at your office?

Donna and Andrea are getting together on Saturday and will bring Andrea's pages with her to the meetup. See everyone else Sunday at the Michaels in Keller!

I did a dumb thing today. I went to Imprints. I HAD too. My husband wanted to go to Harbour Freight and Imprints is in the same shopping center. I spent $35 on stuff I just HAD to have! :biglaugh: They are carrying the twinkling h2os now. Every color of the rainbow and some that God left out. LOL I bought a pack of 6, now if I can just find the perfect thing to use them on. They also have a container full of eyelets in all kinds of shapes, colors and sizes. You scoop them up into a tiny baggie for $3 (as long as the bag closes). They had the clear jelly roll glitter pens...lots of 40% off clearance stuff...yada yada... Off to play... :)
