The LemurKat Lottery

I've decided that to help cheer up the general mood and get me art-ivated I'm going to reopen my LemurKat Lottery.

Here's the deal:

I want as many people as possible to have at least one card by me. If you haven't got one and want one, here's what I shall do:

Every month or so (depending on commitments/trades) I will select one person randomly from a lottery pool and send them a card.

So how to get your name into this pool?

Well, there are a few criteria:
1. You must want a card from me!
2. You must NOT already have a card from me (and yes, I keep records)
3. You must send me an EMAIL (NOT a PM) to the following address:

4. You must also send me these details:

~ Your ATC UserName, real name and Address
~ A list of your interests and fave colours
~ your birthday

I will not necessarily email you to tell you if your name has been selected.

If you signed up at the beginning of last year when I started my last one, please sign up again! i have still stored all the old messages, but I need to have up-to-date addresses. Also, if your address changes whilst you are signed up, can you also please inform me? At that email address:

Right, I've randomly selected two people and entirely by coincidence they both have the same name and a birthday this month. Strange but true. How's that for a funky quirk of fate?

Anyhow, to celebrate this nifty coincidence, I've made them both birthday ATCs and they are both on display in my gallery. I'm sure the two recepients will easily enough be able to figure out who they are.

And I shall slip these envelopes into the post tomorrow.

PS: over 20 people have signed up already - I am STOKED! I never knew so many people wanted my cards and didn't actually have them. I'm going to aim to do at least two a month - money and time permitting.

Right, am sending off another card today as a RAK. I now have 31 people signed up. This should keep me busy for quite some time!

Btw, to any of you who have sent to the wrong address or a PM instead, I will NOT be adding you to the pool. If you want to be in the pool, you must EMAIL ME. So far there's only been one person who neglected to do that, and despite me prompting her to do so, has not done so yet.

Right, with the help of my partner (to give me random numbers between 1-40-whatever) I have randomly selected another two folks from this list and designed cards for them. The letters will be posted tomorrow and should arrive in 7-10 days and I have written "LemurKat Lottery" on the back, so you know.

Kat, Whoever gets your cards will be lucky...But the most important thing you did here was boost the spirits and give others something to look forward to. (even if they don't get a card) This was a very nice thing for you to do.

(note: the card has absolutely nothing to do with Dr Who, it is in fact a Banded Pitta from Asia)

Have you watched Torchwood? It's a spinoff from Dr Who with Captain Jack (John Barrowman) The name is an anagram of Doctor Who. :)

I LOVE Dr Who. He's so nifty! We're watching series 3 on DVD atm, have Torchwood as well to watch next. Jack was neat.

I cannot just sit and watch tv, however, I need to keep my hands busy! But that "Blink' episode was awesome - I'm surprised my art turned out decent at all.

Well!!! I got home yesterday after going to my son's house to help with Holly, get them some dinner etc. to find a wonderful surprise in the letterbox!! I thought "What's this?" Then I opened the envelope to find the beautiful ATC pictured above. How very exciting! This card is great, and I love the extras particularly the upside down cat. Thankyou so much Kat.
