Just wanted to invite and remind folks of the upcoming All Types of Art a-thon August 28 though August 30, 2009.

Come play art with us doing whatever makes you happy! ATC's, inchies, twinchies, 4x4's, 4x6, rollos, art dolls, little books, etc... using whatever medium makes you happiest!

We'll start Friday at 12:00 noon your time and go through 11:59 pm your time. Then we'll spend the weekend with each other creating and posting out art and chatting...

I hope you can join us!

We'll start the "official" All Types of Art a-thon thread a few days prior...

Don't you think that this weekends Goodie-a-thon (http://www.atcsforall.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11629) and Learn-a-thon (http://atcsforall.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11670) are great warm-ups for next weekends All Types of Art a-thon (ATART)?

Not sure yet, I've been having fun with melted stuff since the MAT, but think it's time to move on to another technique :twitcy:

We'll get there! It's just over three days away...

I'm not sure what I'll work on this weekend. I do have a moley to finish, and want to work on some samples for classes I'm planning...

I hope there won't be pain anymore on weekend because I was in accident today and can't use my left hand now. But thank god it's only left hand! The doctor said my hand and arm should be OK in three days :).

OMG! What kind of accident? Be a good girl and follow your doctors instructions and heal quickly!

Someone was running to the bus when I was walking near by the bus stop. He "tackled" me and I fell on my arm on the road. There wasn't any car then so it was my luck this time because it was a highway and people are driving about 60 miles per hour there. The man didn't even notice what happened. I just lost some skin and have now a bandage but nothing broken.

Goodness Sniisk - that could have been really dangerous. I'm glad there weren't any cars coming. I hope you heal quickly!

I'm going to try to play this weekend though I'm not very organized right now.

Sorry, I won't be playing. Major family goings-on for the past two weeks. Now I'm sick and have been told to stay in bed for at least a week. Miss you all.

I have friends coming to stay this weekend but as they are not coming until Saturday I might manage to get something done Friday night. Though my husband has threatened me about cleaning up and keeping my craft room tidy while they are here.

Sniisk, what an awful thing to happen to you, I hope your hand is well enough to craft again soon.

HHC

Yay Joss! It's fairly easy. You create whatever you want to create, and then share by posting to the thread. :) The first post will have details on how to post your pictures... and if they aren't clear enough, just pm me or ask via "quick reply". Everyone is willing to help you figure it all out.

This sounds like fun, everyone cross your fingers, all my children are leaving sat. morning to go to Florida for the week - I'll have the house and weekend to myself (hope, hope, hope) - no interruptions. Hoping to get to play!

Sanna, I'm glad you didn't break a bone!! Hope you're healing.

Everything wasn't as well as I thought. Still nothing broken but the doctor gave the diagnosis yesterday: concussion of the brain and some kind of ligament distension in my shoulder. Not so bad, because she told me not to do any loundry or vacuum-clean or anything like that during the next five days. Really? Sounds good! Can I use scissors and cut papres or are they too heavy? Sure you can if you use your right hand. Sounds even better. No work, no house work and we have ATART! I think this little pain is worth of it :). Am I too positive person ?

sniisk - that's totally my kind of positive! any reasonable excuse not to do housework! Seriously though, take care - especially the concussion.

Helen, is the "official" thread coming soon? I have just 16 hours to go and it means a lot of less time to wait in Australia.

Sanna, glad you're healing, sounds like my kind of doctor (lol) - no, no, no housework, yes, yes, yes art!

you can never be too positive, sniisk! life is all about how you choose to view it...you can choose to see the positive and revel in it or you can choose to see the negative and wallow in it. bravo to you for seeing the positive in what could have been a very negative situation!
