Do you enjoy trading with new members? Maybe you like helping them up their trading ratings, maybe you love meeting new friends, perhaps you like to be first to discover a talented artist. Whatever your reason, if you enjoy trading with newbies, add your name to this thread. If you are open to blind threads, indicate that, too please.

This is a list thread, so please, no chatter. Just list your willingness to trade, your willingness to do blind trades (a trade for a card that you haven't seen; also may be a trade with an artist whose work you haven't seen) if applicable, and wait for the offers to roll in!

Newbies, don't be shy about approaching these artists for a trade, no matter how shy you feel. They have listed in this thread because they are not only willing to trade with you, they are wanting to trade with you - they're waiting to trade with you!

All you have to do is send someone a private message offering to trade and then let the fun begin!

Oh, I forgot to ask - what is a blind trade? I would guess that it just means trades where you don't see the card or agree on a theme ahead of time, but can some one confirm this for me?

I am not just a "Newb' here on this site, I am a true newbie artist! Professional Scrapbooking is what I mostly do! For my ATCs so far (about 2 dozen,) I usually paint my backgrounds (with acrylics or watercolors) and then use more paint, different types of pens, markers, glitter pens and glitter glue--maybe some ribbon--that's pretty much what I do. I have always loved to draw and doodle, and I am working hard on this art/craft. I collect anything that is suitable for all viewing audiences, as I have a 13 year-old son who doesn't need to see "certain things!" I would never reject anything else!

I am also signed up for another one, so I am getting more active in this new world and trying to improve every day. I do alot with different types of inks, gel pens, glitter pens and paint. Just thinking of you tonight, and thought I say "hi!" I hope you are doing well and havng lots of time to be creative! I took several custom scrapbook and Christmas Card orders on Sept. 12, and I have to deliver them ALL this Thursday, so I am a little bit under the gun! Then I have ANOTHER presentation of my work on FRIDAY! Finally, Saturday I am going to a scrapbookng day--really, it is a weekend retreat, but obviously, I can't go to the whole thing, as I am going from Sat. at 8 am until midnite! Now of COURSE I can't REALLY stay until midnight, but I'll see if I can make it til dinnertime. Usually, the day after a presentation, my husband, Lew, and I go out to buy all of the supplies I'll need for the various orders. We won't be able to do that this weekend, though, so I guess we'll do it another night, or I will go myself. (Oh No!!, lol!) I DO like when we go together because he helps me to spend less money than I think I need to! I am quite the impulse buyer! Also, I think you can never have enough...of ANYTHING!!!
