Hi, this swap is all about Bookmarks….. These are very useful and make ideal gifts.
I have put up three examples of some I have made, but hey guys the sky is the limit
Have Fun….

Australian participants MUST enclose return postage and a self-addressed envelope. International participants postage is on me but a SAE is also required, and an extra bookmark would be very much appreciated but this is up to the individual.
When you sign up for this swap I will PM you my address.

Please include your User Name, Name of Swap, Date and Contact details on the back of your bookmark.

Any medium is acceptable, but I will ask that you please send your best work. Only send work that you’d be happy to receive back.
Embellishments are acceptable but please make sure that they are not unusually heavy or bulky.

I will give feedback to you on the day I receive your Bookmarks. I will also update this post showing that your bookmarks have arrived safely.

Bookmarks are to be 20cm x 5cm. If any are received not conforming to this size they will be returned to sender un-swapped. All bookmarks are to be in a plastic snap lock bag or some sort of protective covering.

I'm all worried about my bookmarks! What do you want me to do if they don't make it? I have never had that happen in a swap, so I don't know what the "standard procedure" is. I'd sure be disappointed though--I was proud of those funky retro things!

Checked the mail today, and alas still no bookmarks. I will keep the swap open until the end of the week 7/3/08 and if I still have not received them, I will sort the other participants on the weekend and they will be posted on 10/3/08.

I went ahead and sent a second set of bookmarks today--they were the Friendly Plastic ones, as I didn't have time to make a different set of embroidered ones (they take a couple hours each). I definitely don't want you to hold up the swap any longer than you are planning to, though. When I can get to the computer where I saved the image, I will load the photo of my first set again so folks can at least see what they looked like if they missed it at the old site.

Please don't worry about returning the Friendly Plastic bookmarks to me when they arrive, as I doubt they will make it before you mail. Just keep them for yourself or give them as gifts. I will still cross my fingers that the others make it to you, but I'm kind of low on hope at this point. I'm sorry to have wasted a spot in the swap, but please don't hold it against me, guys. I tried!

I was in a tag swap once, and my tags went missing in the mail, so I completely understand how you feel. Don't worry - it doesn't happen often, but it does happen. Maybe they will eventually find their way!

As the majority of participants don't mind waiting a while longer I will hold it open until your second set arrive. It was not your fault they were lost in the postal service so why should you be punished for it LavenderLizard.

I was looking around for the third one and there goes my own cat with JoyFlowers
