The people who live next door to my daughter have a buzzard and eagle owl and barn owls which they have raised and bred themselves in captavity. I had asked her if she could get a feather and as luck would have it..... Anyway I didn't attach it to the page due to the page being only 6 x 6 but I posted it along with the pages (surely they should have arrived by now as its during the site close down period )The markings on the feather are lovely, I wish I had it before I had made the page LOL
Robot Love - really mega struggle on here, its not the not being able to draw it, I can't think what to draw so I don't even know if I can draw it LOL any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Sorry that my theme is such a pain!
If it helps, drop the love and keep the robots. I like the bulky, square, obsolete look of old vintage/retro robots.

The pages I received from Blinka were simple and great. Boy robot giving girl robot, flowers and lots of hearts.

For my pages, the love is optional :)

LOL my problem was I couldn't seem to get past computers!! I guess I need to watch robots and i-robot for inspiration once I suss the robots the love will follow!!

Here are my two pages for BigKay's Robot Love. I hope it's okay I went in a different direction to everyone else. I called them Memories (the girl remembers the fun times she had with the robot when she was younger) and Maintenance (the girl shows her love for the robot by fixing him). Artist info is on the back rather than front, I forgot to double check your instructions before doing it. :(

I really really like what you did with the theme and how you translated the love. They remind me of some artwork from one of my favorite picture books - The Lost Thing (http://www.shauntan.net/books.html)(especially ‘Feeding Time’. He's a great artist and it's the same kind of love and care, I think)

I am happy for anything about the riverbank, whether you consider the riverbank as being connected to the wind in the willows with Toad and ratty, or is it an idyllic restful place with swan gliding along and a boat floating on the water. Is it the local dumping ground? The trolley sticking out of the reeds?? What about the river in winter with ice ? Maybe its the bank with a fisherman, the courting couple? the dragonflies, the heron, the kingfisher???
Any of those suggestions help????

Hello everyone. Sorry that I've been away for so long. There has been a cascade of events here that has kept me away from making any art for a while now. Much longer than I had anticipated. I'm missing it terribly.

I made pages for Loz and FF (made them but am not 100% happy with them) Binka's is almost finished. If it's ok with you, I'd like to give the pages another try and will send you 2 sets. They will be out by month's end. I will let you know when they are in the mail.
