Any "bad witches" out there?

While thrift shopping yesterday I found a pack of fortune-telling cards called "Good Witch, Bad Witch". These tarot-like cards are about the size of an ATC (2.25" x 3.5") and each one features either a good or bad witch. I have decided to keep the good witches and would like to share the bad witches with others. Here's the deal:

I have 24 cards to give away. If you are interested in receiving (3) cards from me post to this thread. Keeping with the bad witch theme I will take responses until midnight on Thursday March 13th. I will randomly draw eight names and send you a random selection of 3 cards. I will also send you a copy of the page from the book that came along with this set which describes the characteristics of the witch (and instructions for casting spells specific to her talents ;)).

I'm attaching a picture of a couple of the cards so you can get a feel for what they are like.

I would love some "bad witch" cards. Please put my name in your cauldron. Don't stir too much, though...you might wake the sleeping spirits! LOL. If you end up with extras at the end, let me know and we can arrange a supply trade for them. I am curious, though. Why don't you want to keep the whole set together?

I am trying to be realistic -- I can't imagine using all of the cards (there are 52 total) and thought I could share the love a little. They are an awesome set and if I was more ambitious I would try to make an entire journal of them -- one per week or something like that. But there just aren't enough hours in the day!

OK folks. We have our final list of hopefuls (23). And I have good news! I found TWO more packs of these cards in the last week. I am planning to keep one whole set which means I have two sets to give away. So here’s the deal: I have sets of three bad witch cards for 17 people. I have not drawn the names yet but for the people who are eliminated from this round I will send you three good witch cards instead. Everyone whose name is on the list in my original post should PM me with your mailing address. Also, if you would prefer to have good witches over bad witches you can let me know that and I will substitute. Once I have this all sorted out and have mailed off these cards I will put the remaining good witch cards up for grabs and create a new list of interested parties. I will be out of town until Sunday and won’t get around to actually doing anything until next week so please be patient. Thanks for all of your interest.

The witch cards are winging their way (or brooming their way) to you today. Here's what I ended up doing: everyone received a minimum of two bad witch cards. I then divvied up the remaining bad witches randomly and gave the rest of you one good witch card. So, you either got 3 bad witches or 2 bad witches and one good witch. I hope that suits everyone -- it seemed the fairest thing to do rather than pick out some people to receive only good witch cards. AND, I PROMISE that I don't know a single one of you so any resemblance between the cards I sent and your personality (good or bad) is of the utmost coincidence!

I'll leave this thread open for a couple of days then ask that it be closed. Next week I plan to post a new one offering up the remaining good witch cards.

Edited to add: I kept a list of the cards I sent to everyone so if you do get cards in the future I'll try not to duplicate. If you trade amongst yourselves just let me know so I can update my list.
