China update :)

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to give an update about my China trip in June..I had offered to send back items (for free) from China that you could use in your art work..eg. menus, news clipping, post cards, pictures, etc...All I ask is that you send me a SAE with an international post office slip or $2 for postage...
First twenty sign-ups....please send SAE before may 15th
If you change your mind and want to withdraw, please let me know so another person can take your spot..

I'm so excited about my trip and want to be able to share it with all of you, but I have to limit the amount I send back...

I was supposed to go to China myself in May to visit my childhood best friend, who's living there for a few years---but I just can't afford the trip right now. So I'd be thrilled to get some of the stuff I might have picked up myself, and I'd be more than happy to pay the postage. Thanks

bluehills, I will let you know if a spot opens up...Maybe you could ask your friend to send a few things...I bet she would not mind...I heard that their magazines, newspapers, menus etc, are very colorful and great to use in art..

Ahhh thanks for the nice comments...I feel honored to have been pick to do this trip...
I'm not promising, but if I have any down time, I will try to send back a package to myself with extra stuff from China that people can use in their art....Then all the people on the waitng list will get first grabs..:)

Hi everyone,
China was awesome!!! So much to share..I was not able to send out the envelopes from China due to strict securities because of the Olympics coming. However, I did send everyone on my list a postcard from China. There is a good side to this. Each of you on my list will be getting a wonderful package that is larger then what I would have mailed from China. Also, 10 of you will receive an extra special gift :) (picked at random) I hope you all will be pleased. All the people in my delegation group were saving everything with Chinese writing on it or pictures for all of you. See how far our ATC group travels :)
I will mail out the packages by Friday.
