A friend of mine gave away these Creative Spirit Doll kits at an arts/crafts retreat I organized last fall. We ended up with two extras and she encouraged me to pass them along, so that's what I'm doing.
The kits are basically for the project described here: http://homepage.mac.com/jeffhaywood/craftsanity/page5/page5.html
You can paint or draw on the dolls, attach fabric, buttons, beads, wire, fibre, feathers and other embellishments, and finish with glitter or other decorations.
Each kit includes:
-- A muslin doll form cut from the pattern, already stitched together with a hole at the bottom for inserting the stuffing and anything else you want (such as a letter, photo or charm).
--A muslin face that you can decorate separately & attach to the doll.
--A printout of the instructions for making the pictured doll; you can alter to your own taste.
-- Additional info about what spirit dolls are and how they work.
--About 4 ounces of plush polyester fiberfill (should be enough for one doll; if not, you can buy more at a craft store like Joann)
I'm looking to trade each of these kits for
-- Any book on ATCs--especially "An Anthology of ATCs" (Stampington, 2004), but any ATC-specific books would be good.
-- Caran d'ache crayons (used or incomplete set OK; I just want to try them)
-- Twinkling H20s (any color)
...or what have you. PM me with an offer!
