At a recent book sale I bought a large copy-paper box with a sign that said "Sheet Music $1". Unfortunately it didn't contain sheet music  What it did contain was a large amount of education materials designed for children's and youth education. This was from a Unitarian Church but not religious in nature, more along the Humanities line. The miscellany includes booklets with text, drawings and pictures, lots of Xeroxed copies with same, some construction paper cards with printed text and picture used in games, even some small black and white "comic books". I would be happy to send anyone interested an envelope of an assortment of this stuff if you pay for the postage. PM me with your address and I'll mail -- you can return stamps once you receive the package.

Picture attached so you can get an idea. . . .

Here's hoping this stuff is someone's treasure.

Do you know/ can you figure out when all this was published? If the publishing date is pre-1970, I'd take a small variety. Since you were looking for sheet music originally, could I send you some in trade? I found a bunch of old music at a yard sale last summer; it all seems to have been published from 1910 to 1930 or so. I'd be happy to trade some of that if you'd like. Let me know?

Hi frogwings:

the publishing dates on these materials are 1968 through 1972. I have scanned a few pages from the books so you can see a little more detail. These are only a few of the pages -- there is a lot of text and some rather strange pictures, drawings, ink blots, graphs, etc. There is also a set of development biology cards showing various stages of embryo development of various creatures. I've included a picture of those, too. I can scan more if you or anyone else is interested.

I'll PM you with some of these details, too.

Julie,
Just found your thread and I would LOVE an assortment of the goodies you accidently found. I am a Unitarian Universalist and am curious about the material from a historical/faith view as well as an artistic one!
I'll PM you my address ~ thanks!
