i apologize for getting so behind with my mailing. i could go on about how awful my life is right now because summer camp has started @ work and I'm outside and surrounded by 250 kids all day and how much i really don't care for kids and how effin hot it's been - but i won't.

amy's doll has been done for a while but I had to make her a new box because the original one was looking pretty busted. It's going to be mailed to Lili tomorrow unless in my slackerness, someone else mailed to her instead and now she is drowning in dolls and I should mail to someone else ... etc. etc. please let me know.

whoever is due to mail to me next, I'm ready. I promise to work on it as soon as it gets here and will mail it out asap. fast. like lightning.

Here's Jules' doll after her stay with me. The front was looking pretty awesome so I focused on spiffing up the back a bit. I added a fried egg to her halo, some paint, and what I guess you could say is a 'pie hole'. O.o I messed about with her hair a bit and a new mousey friend has taken up residence on her shoulder. Oh. And there's googly eyes. Keep your eye on the pie!

I received a doll in the mail today and when I opened it, it was mine!
I think that maybe it was supposed to go to Meredith before it came back to me, but if it's OK, I'd like to keep it. Now that I have it at home with me, I can't bring myself to part with it again.

I had a house full of guests when it arrived so it was extra fun to look over.
It is so beautiful and so much heavier than it was when it left me. I really love it. And you. ALL of you!

Okay dolls - I worked on amy's cutie last night and she got some crosses on her nails and a anatomical clay heart in the palm of her hand and the best part - she now dons a "bat nut" or water caltrop for a hat!

I am finished with my additions to Mere's doll too. I took some pics and there's a chance I may add one or two more details before the night is over but she is definitely headed to Amy tomorrow.

I added some shoulders (they don't get in the way of the arm hole), some cigarette butt guts (clay, not the real kind), some "hair" and basically f***ed up her face. I also included a mask accessory that looks almost as cutie as her original face. (You know, in case the face I gave her gives your kids nightmares)

I showed my boyfriend when I was finished and his response was: "Yeah ... they're not going to invite you to play with them anymore." Sorry ladies. Say it isn't so!

OMG!! I love it!! That mouth with the teeth is too damn funny! I gave some finger zombies just like that to Amy in Artzona last year and you know what- my SON was sad because he wanted them!! She's got her nooner face and her after hours face. haha
