View Full Version : Postage Stamp-a-Thon March 8-10

I hope this date works out okay for everyone. I dragged my feet a little and see that there're a couple others in March as well, but I figure none of us can get too much creative time in. Would anybody like to co-host w/ me? I'll do my best to be online as much as possible but know I can't be there 24/7. Start digging out your stamps and getting some ideas it's just a couple weeks away!

I'm planning on playing. :)

I'll be out of town that weekend at a Writer's Retreat.

However...how these usually go, I'm up before everyone else, so if I pack some supplies, I might be able to sneak in a few in while everyone is still sleeping....Hmmm...I may have to do that (especially since one of the writers in attendence will be someone I got into ATC's and this site. :D).

I hope we are all ready for a whole new level of snarkiness!!!! (with postage stamps)

Oh, I just love your snarky cards!

I've got some stamps standing by. :)

I spent last week in the hospital. I have blood clots affecting my leg, heart and lungs. Along with a new heart issue and some old health problems. I'm still not feeling well and going turtle slow on everything. I will at the very least enjoy all the art that is posted. If I am able I'll jump in and play - I have a pile of stamps that need to be trimmed after all.

Oh Kristin, I'm so sorry to hear that! I hope you get better soon and enjoy the art. As for myself, I may or may not have time to play in the Athon, but will check in to admire what's being posted!

We'll miss our regulars that can't play but hopefully there'll be plenty of good art for you to enjoy.

Kristin, I hope the drs are able to get you back to your old self real soon.

I have backgrounds cut - did a huge lot ready for the st patrick's day a thon and the easter a thon - so I am ready in that regard. I have also sorted some postage stamps out - might try and make some postage stamp people - that could maybe be a challenge???

Kristin - look after yourself - sending prayers and hugs to you (and kitty purrs from Georgie)

Kristin, I'm sorry to hear about your health problems. I hope you get well soon.

I'm not sure if I'll play, but I certainly will enjoy all the art.

I have never done a art-a -thon but have so many stamps would like to join. What is involved?

Kristin I was wondering about you...You take care and don't over do it.

Just create art during the time frame and post to the thread and athon gallery. Trades are done via PM. Lots of fun!

Kristin, take care of yourself! Sounds very scary.

Hope that you're feeling better! :wubclub:

I don't know if I'll have a chance now or not. I've got some Swap things that I have to get done in my spare moments over the weekend while I'm away. Maybe though.....
