all spots now taken :)

we will be following the atcsforall rules - as follows

REQUIREMENTS
Because these type of swaps require a huge, very long-term commitment of time and resources, and because it is absolutely heartbreaking when a journal goes missing (unfortunately, it happens), there are special requirements for participation in a swap of this type.

You must:
* Be an actively trading AFA member (defined as: positive iTrader across 2 swaps in the last 3 months)
* Have 3+ months in good standing (no neutrals or negative iTraders)
* Have an iTrader rating of 25+
* Be willing and able to do your very best work on a strict, inflexible time line, over a long period
* Be willing and able to complete the set number of journal pages in the themes chosen by your fellow participants depending on the journal group guidelines
* Have the cash resources necessary to ship the journals around the world using First Class or Airmail. Tracking is not mandatory, but could be suggested

Additional Requirements for the Hosts:
* Have completed hosting (5) swaps before hosting a circle journal swap. This is to give our Hosts the additional experience needed to handle a swap this long in duration
* It is the Host's responsibility to get complete contact information for each member (real name, street address, mailing address if different, telephone numbers, email, etc.) And to PM this information to all members of the group.
* It is the Host's responsibility to PM members who seem to be lagging behind in posting weekly and/or completing and mailing pages. If Hosts do not keep up with the members of their swap, AFA staff will assist.
* If a player gets behind and the circle members are uncomfortable about leaving a negative iTrader, the Host shall, after notification to AFA staff of their intent, leave a negative iTrader for the delinquint player upon approval from AFA staff provided that the player:
- has not responded to PM's from the Host despite logging in at AFA
- has not posted to the thread for (2) weeks

Note: AFA members of iATCs can use their iATC stats to fulfill these requirements.

Limited sign ups for first-time participants. Individuals new to circle journals and book journal swaps at ATCsforALL.com can only sign up for one journal group initially. After the successful completion of their group, they are welcome to sign up for multiple groups but must check with a Moderator before signing up for more than three (3).

iTrader for players removed from a Moley group:
-If someone worked in a player's moley, and the player DIDN'T do theirs, they should receive a Negative until they mail pages, the rating will then be changed to a Neutral.
-If a player holds up a moley for more than 2 weeks past the mail out dead line, the owner can give neutral at their discretion.

now for the fun part :)
we will be using the Japanese Moleskine accordion style pocket album. Approximate size is 3.5" x 5.5". Available at Amazon.com and at MoleskineUS here. http://www.moleskineus.com/japanesebook.html

Pick your theme!

Decorate the covers or wait till your book comes home
some like to wait to protect the covers from damage - some like to establish theme, palette, and mood by doing their cover before.

on the front inside cover please put your name, address and phone number in case your book is lost in the mail

also either in the front or the back inside covers put
1. your username
2. your assigned "travel-plan"
3. a sign-in area for artists
4. any special instructions
5. also decorate the first three pages (the fold out ones) in your theme
this will leave 27 pages for the other nine artist to each do three pages in your book.

Allow plenty of time for drying before shipping. Wax paper between pages is a must in the summer heat!!!

Be sure to communicate regularly via email, PM, and in this thread
When ever you rec or send a book - include tracking numbers. They are required in case a book goes missing.

There has been issues with journals piling up with one player who is unable to keep up due to Life - please let us know - everyone understands and there are ways we can work around that if you find yourself with this issue. So please talk to me and we will come up with a way for you to finish and the books keep on moving. Communication is Key!

mail these journals at the post office personally. Don't want to chance them getting taken from the mail boxes plus that way you can be sure to get a tracking number :)

Players and Themes

1. goatgoddess
it's a beautiful sunny summer day - the bee's are buzzing ........

my theme is summer days - whatever that means to you with at least one bumble bee somewhere in there <g> he can even be hiding on the B side of the paper :)

2. angelmuz
theme is "A World of My Own-What kind of World would you create?"

3. jazzie

Theme: A PORTRAIT GALLERY or Face Your Fears
Each page will be a separate, framed portrait – so each artist will do three portraits.

Style: yours!

Media: your choice, but I really don’t want “tip-in” pages. Do your best in the book, if you make an oops, stay calm. Ask yourself, who’s going to know it’s an oops? If the answer is no one but you, and you can live with it, just carry on. If it really messes your vision to leave it be, think of some clever way to deal with it, without a “tip-in’ page. I will be forever grateful.

Who are these portaits of?: Anybody you want. It can be of someone you know, someone we all know, or someone from your imagination with its own backstory. Feel free to write info on the blank side of the Moley page.

Some of you are probably saying this is right up my alley and the rest are cringing in the corner. I’m right there in the corner with you! I don’t find it easy to draw and faces are my biggest challenge so I'm pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I’ve seen some great faces in some of your galleries and I’ve seen some great pattern and color work by those of you who haven’t posted any faces. I know you can all do this. [And who says a portrait has to be of a person?]

Artist's Choice

5. waffle - theme
"Celebrating Japan". So, it would be for artwork (any medium) featuring something about modern or old/vintage Japan. The Tokyo city scape, sushi, noodle bar, anime characters/film, landscapes, geishas, school uniforms, tea ceremonies, origami, samurais, anything you find captivating about the country and culture.

6. HiddenTreasure2010
whimsy seascapes

7. JSilver - theme
"Seasons: the one you are in right now". Artist's choice of rendering the season that she is experiencing at the time she has my book. Hope that makes sense! I prefer hand drawn/ hand painted with some collage that adds to the scene.

8. Tandy
Sock Monkey's take a European vacation

9. kwailin777 - theme
I'm a stickler for receiving what artist feel, make them the most happy to create. So my theme will be "Simply the Best" Do what you do best.

you will do a 3 page spread in each book you rec. please be care of the the pages you are next too and keep your art to your 3 pages - post it's work nicely to keep the pages ahead and behind your art clean :)

mail your books in a plastic ziplock bag - Wax paper between pages is a must in the summer heat!!! protect your art and others!

Gosh, I'm extremely tempted. I've never done one of these before. Can you tell me how much time we get in between mailings? Also, do you know the approximate cost to ship? International? I don't need to know exact shipping just ball park. Under five? under ten? After these questions are answered, and I think I could do this, I'd join.

Ooooh filling up! I can't wait... I bought my moley yesterday in a little local art store and am gonna start up. I am thinking to do a theme of "In a world of my own" Then everyone can make a pretend world they would like... Candyland... Wonderland... etc. So excited to play!

jazzie

Usually the mailings are a month apart, so think about a week in transit and you have three weeks to work on the one in your custody. The Moleys fit great in the dvd sized Flat Rate Priority box that is now $6-something and comes with free tracking. It's a little more than mailing it in a bubble envie, but I think it protects the Moley better and you have all that space to stuff other goodies into w/o it costing anymore. And you don't have to buy a bubble envie. My last (and only) group had three international mailings and I don't remember exactly how much, but under $10 and I think closer to $6-$8 in a bubble envie.

Super excited!

Thanks Jackie! I'm horrible at math, but I did figure that it would be approx. a month for each turn around. That's do able! Excellent info for the mailing. :)

I just got a moley from a local art store out here in California and it cost 15 bucks. I am heading back to Canada in a couple of weeks, maybe I should bring some back across the border... sometimes it is so hard to find stuff if you are in Canada.

goatgoddess
07-04-2013, 12:35 AM
thanks Jazzie - thanks for adding the mailing info :) had to do a yearly doctor thing and then wait on my husband all afternoon into evening while he was at the denist getting two crowns - he thought he should get knocked out for that <g>

goatgoddess
07-04-2013, 12:40 AM

I ordered my book from the link that was provided. They had free shipping. :)

Tandy
07-05-2013, 02:10 PM
I ordered my Moley through Amazon Prime on Tuesday and received it Wednesday. Prime includes free two-day shipping, but I got it in one-day. Yay!

kwailin777
07-05-2013, 02:13 PM
I saw that Prime thing. How does that work?

jazzie
07-05-2013, 02:20 PM
It's a really good deal if you use Amazon frequently. It's about $80/year and that gets you free shipping on things marked "Prime". So if postage costs keep you from buying things, it kind of psychs you out to think the thing is cheaper and you end up buying more things on Amazon.

kwailin777
07-05-2013, 02:26 PM
Well, if you use more than 80 dollars a year on shipping that would be awesome, but it can't me for now. :(

jazzie
07-05-2013, 03:08 PM
Me either - I tried it "free" for a month and it was awesome. I used to work for a family that ordered their dipeys & wipeys from Amazon Prime - they figured out it that over the year it was the same or cheaper than running to the store for those things and then everything else they ordered throughout the year was basically free shipping.

kwailin777
07-05-2013, 03:14 PM
I thought I was being smart yesterday by going to Barnes and Noble to get my journal. I know that I had seen Moleskine there before. They had a ton of Moleskine, just not the one we're using.:spinny:

bridgetgethins
07-05-2013, 06:33 PM
I too thought of the Barnes and then recalled their moles are more journal with lines mostly. I ordered mine on Amazon and got the free shipping. I also did a search on ebay and there were many Japanese style and what looked to be cheaper in price but then with the shipping turned out to be the same of more than Amazon's. I have my order in and so it should be here tomorrow!

Tandy
07-06-2013, 02:50 AM
My favorite thing about Amazon Prime is not the free shipping, it is the 2-day delivery! Many times it ends up being 1-day. I like instant gratification and hate waiting weeks for things I order. LOL.

waffle
07-06-2013, 08:26 AM
I got my moley yesterday! I ordered it directly from the Molkeskine site and it arrived super quick with priority mail. I also was not able to find the pocket journal locally.

After much debate, my theme will be "Celebrating Japan".

T, I know what you mean! I wish I had mine in my hands right now, but it won't be until Monday.

Liz, that's an awesome theme! Now that I think of it, my theme is kinda boring, but this is my first Moley, so I guess it's a good place to start. :)

JSilver
07-07-2013, 07:11 PM
Ordered mine from Moleskine directly. Got it for $13.97 with free shipping. Should arrive Monday or Tuesday.

goatgoddess
07-08-2013, 04:52 PM
working on getting the address together - thought I would have time at work this morning - I thought wrong <G> so will do that this evening.

we have a new goat dog pup and she took up some of my free time - she's at the barn to learn how to be a goat dog but that means I have to go out to the barn more - the goats are hopeful that it means they will get fed extra when they see me out there checking on the pup. <G>

I have figured out my theme-the secret garden- like the animal friends, flowers, the magical aspect of the plant life and who may live there- and of course in the style of how you the artist would visit the garden. Does this make sense?

kwailin777
07-09-2013, 10:40 AM
Forgive the newb question, but what happens to the b-sides of the pages?

jazzie
07-09-2013, 12:48 PM
people sometimes write their names on the back = :~], sometimes they write a message to you or a story about what they've created for you = ;~], but most of the time they leave it blank = :~[

Anyone have tips on decorating the outside of the book? The cover is so soft - I almost feel like leaving it as is.

bridgetgethins
07-11-2013, 12:05 AM
My moleskin arrived today! Beautiful cover and very inspiring. Yeah, the cover- doing something to the cover- I think after the traveling would better. But will spend time getting to know the paper and such. very cool

goatgoddess
07-11-2013, 07:24 AM
I've painted mine and collaged my covers in the past - the paint will flake off (well mine did and a few other painted ones I've seen - did not gesso first so that could make a difference - it will flake off around the spine

Collage works well but use gel medium (which will still stick in the hot texas heat) but not as sticky as mod poch - that stuff stays sticky.

Please remember to use wax paper between pages so they don't stick.

you can leave the cover till it comes home too if you want.

kwailin777
07-11-2013, 09:57 AM
I wanted to decorate my cover, but I don't want all those problems to arise. So, I'm thinking that I'm going to do a paper book cover, much like what we used to do to our text books for school. I'll decorate the paper cover and leave the original out side as is.

jazzie
07-11-2013, 01:06 PM
That's a good idea Melissa - you can decorate it yourself or people can sign it/decorate it like a cast.

They make black gesso which might give you different/better results on the black cover.

My theme last time was Messengers & Messages and I had planned to do secret messages on the cover with black ink & black embossing powder but ran out of time before my first mailing. I think I still want to do that, but haven't gotten to that yet. Nor my last two pages - we had eight people in our group and agreed you could do 3 or 4 pages if you wanted and so everyone ended up with a different number of completed pages.

Has anyone ever used Turtle Wax on their jounal pages? I saw it on a YouTube video. My moley still has its wax paper in it and its very bulky.

goatgoddess
07-16-2013, 11:30 AM
oh now that it is interesting - Turtle wax - will have to look it up and test it - my part of Texas has been cooler than usual - nice calm rains the last two days - just doesn't happen in July <g> but I'll take it - it's been super nice having the lower temps and not having to water every morning before going to work.

goatgoddess
07-16-2013, 11:31 AM
Just need a few more address then we will be ready to rock and roll :)

goatgoddess
07-16-2013, 11:31 AM

Sugession: scan or copy everything you do. Last time a couple of the moleys were lost or misplaced. Eventually, they were returned to the owners. It's a scarey feeling to think all that artwork is just gone.

angelmuz
07-17-2013, 12:33 PM
Thats a great idea to copy it! Things do get lost and that is soooooo sad, particularly with a moley! I have been away for over a week, but managed to work on my moley while traveling. When are we sending out???

bridgetgethins
07-17-2013, 01:07 PM
Our good Goatgoddess has the dates on the first page of this 19th moley and it starts Sept 1, 2013- and back home by May 2013- I think that's May 2014. Or this is going to be a very magical moley!

bridgetgethins
07-18-2013, 05:02 PM
Okay, I began my moley and she said absolutely no "garden themes" unless the artist would like to- so my theme is.... Artist's Choice.

did anyone get my pm with all the address's? in my outbox it's gone so not sure if the system ate it or if it's just me.

just heard from Carol I didn't see where she said she had resorted the system - everything after 2pm is lost - so off to redo it <G>

kwailin777
08-01-2013, 09:16 AM
I had them, but as you know with the re-set their gone. :wideeyed: Anyone with a thread will need to do some re-posting.

goatgoddess
08-01-2013, 09:16 AM
Sadly I'm going to drop ArtsyLady from this group - she has not responded to my pm's nor have I had anything from her since her first pm asking to join. Hopefully everything is ok but we are too close to our starting date to wait longer.

With this type of group we have to be active - communicate regularly in this thread

her pm box is full and she hasn't connected a e-mail to her profile so there is no way to find out if she is still interested.

so we will all have 3 extra pages in the back of our books - not a bad thing we can finish them off when they come back home :)

goatgoddess
08-01-2013, 09:17 AM
will be updating the first page again <G> and resend the pm to everyone again :)

Quick question... So far there is only the first send out listed. Are you going to list the entire travel plan, or are you going to do it as we go? (I'm decorating my book right now, and just wanna know if I should decorate another thang for the travelling portion.) ;)

kwailin777

Here's the start of my book....While on vacation I bought tons of old postage stamps at a flea market. I've used a few on my Moley. I'm going for a postal look. I have bakers twine used as an enclosure, but it's starting to unravel! May change it out some other time. On the inside cover I used a manila tag to write the directions in "letter" form. On the back side is a sign in area. The pocket that it's in is a glassine bag. I follow directions really well......addy is written on the inside spine....oops! (Should have doubled read the instructions!) Anyway, blah blah blah...you get the idea. ;)

Love this form for the moley- is this the paper cover over the moley?

kwailin777
08-04-2013, 12:21 AM
Yes, I took a brown shopping bag and covered the book like you would a school text book. I wrapped an air mail envelope around the front cover. They I used clear mailing tape over the whole thing. I can't use the blk stretch band to close the book, so I used eyelets on the paper cover to make the baker's twine closure. :)

I have not gotten my Moley yet but hopefully I’ll get to take care of that this week. I think I have my theme…

[And who says a portrait has to be of a person?]

kwailin777
08-04-2013, 09:11 PM
*Blood curdling scream! Nah, just kidding...ha ha ha. If I can't make a person portrait, I'm happy to know that I have the safety net of animal portraits. Great theme idea by the way. :)

Wow girls...great stuff.. Haven't been on here for a week and a bit... traveling back to Canada from California! Traveling and reorienting always takes longer than i expect! Thanks for all the kudo's on the book. I will be posting more extensive directions on my theme soon. And just fyi... i am cringing in the corner Jazzie! But will most certainly give it my best shot ( just as long as I don't have to draw Frida again... i think i could draw her in my sleep now.. lol

08-06-2013, 01:38 AM
Jazzie,if you are willin' then so am I. But what is a "tip-in"?

jazzie
08-06-2013, 03:10 AM
Some people are so afraid of messing up the moley that they produce the artwork on another piece of paper or cardstock and glue it onto their spot in the moley. It ends up rather clumsy looking because its hard to get the measurements and folds right, it adds a lot of bulk to the book, especially if more than one person does it, and ultimately, to me, it's not really part of the moley because the artist isn't working in the moley, they're working outside of it. Just my quirkiness I guess.

kwailin777
08-06-2013, 09:04 AM
Yes, please no tip-in's for me too. I'd like the book to close properly. :wideeyed: I use pencil and eraser, then keep my fingers crossed. Ha ha ha!

I like to keep it simple - you will mail to the same person each mth - while it's a tad boring that way, it makes my head hurt when I'm in molie groups where I mail to a different person each mth <g>

Quick question... So far there is only the first send out listed. Are you going to list the entire travel plan, or are you going to do it as we go? (I'm decorating my book right now, and just wanna know if I should decorate another thang for the travelling portion.) ;)

You mail it by Sept 1st - the person to rec. it should get it within 2-3 days in the USA and to Canada and USA hopefully the mail powers that be will be nice and keep it to a week.

Lucked out and found my moley at Blick today [along with many other things!]

I was thinking you each could choose a European country and it would be great if there were no duplicate countries. Some of my favorite Euro countries are: Italy, France, and Greece. My heritage is: French, German, Irish, Scottish, and Swiss. These are just to give you some ideas, but feel free to pick the Euro country that inspires you and your sock monkeys. :) I would love to see the sock monkeys partaking in activities common to the local culture or at famous sights/landmarks. I'm so excited to see what you all come up with. Sock monkeys are fun (I know, I have like 20+ of them) so have fun with this.

I take care of a 5-year-old boy who out-of-the-blue, while we were watering our tomatoes in May said, "You know what we can do this summer?"
And I said, "What?"
Then Luca said, "We could make sock monkeys."
And I asked, "What made you think of that?"
Then he said, "I don't know, but we could just make them."
So we watched some YouTube videos on how to make them and realized we couldn't make them because I don't have a sewing machine. I told him it was on my list of things to get and he told me he would give me his bucket of quarters to go buy one. I'm still looking for a bargain on one, but even when I do get a sewing machine the videos kind of scared me away - they're complicated little critters! Drawing them will be much easier!!!

He made a monkey pillow/ornament at this Etsy Party we went to recently. He went into the sewing circle and found some blanket remnants that had a monkey on it and sewed and stuffed it by himself. The teacher added the hanger and stiched the opening for him.

He is both cute and an art bud. He blows through supplies at an astonishing rate and blows me away with what he makes!

Sorry that pic is sideways - it's from my phone and then my email and then my computer. I can look at it right-side up on my computer, but don't know how to upload it here that way. It was from the Global Etsy Art Party Day in June. It was held on the patio of an art gallery and all the projects were recycle/upcycle minded. He made this really avante garde upcycled six-pack container (to hold brushes or other things) and people kept coming up to him to take a pic of his creation. One was writing an article for newspaper and I haven't seen that yet, but this is the link to the SD Craft Monsters. Luca is in the third column wearing a bright green shirt with little monsters on it.

Luca is so cute - wish we lived closer I would lend you my sewing machine for a few days.

the sock monkeys aren't too horrible - I think there are sock monkey kits too - that might be easier but then trying to find the kits - seems random at JoAnns when I see them there.

would he like a polyclay one?

Thanks gg! I'll look into those - the kits sound like a good idea. I've been eyeing this cute little sewing machine (singer) at Big Lots. It's $49 and looks like it will do what I need it to. I looked at JoAnn's on Sunday to see if I could use my 50% off coupon on one but they were all pretty big and fancy for my needs.

My 11 days all to myself ended last night and I was so busy doing nothing, I haven't even freed my Moley from its wrapper! I have been working on my plan for my pages in my head and will get cracking on it. Oh I know where all my time went - I cleaned off my art table so I could work on it! Can't wait to get started :~j

Hey Gang,
Checking in...
I have yet to mail. I am ready to mail, but am in the middle of a car crisis and can't get to the PO. Waiting for my boss to make a decision on what we're doing as it's his car.

Meanwhile San Diego has been experiencing unreal heat and humidity for the past week which made me push the mailing later to begin with thinking the big H hanging over us would vacate by the weekend. [No A/C and no cool ocean breezes - 80 degrees @ 4am!!!] The pages I did with acrylics and then sealed were still really tacky as of Saturday and I was hesitant to pack everything up even with parchment.

Hoping to have this all resolved in a few days and will mail priority. JSilver, if this delay puts you in a crunch you can do 2 panels instead of 3.

I have no idea who these ladies are, they just happened. It was nevertheless fun to see them evolve as I really had no plan, no models. My first accordian page is a bunch of rubber stamp faces I put frames around. I did prep a third page with gesso last week, but as the heatwave progressed I backed off of it and will do it when Moley returns.

Wow, so painting is okay on the pages??? And yes, those are wonderful women portraits.

Yes - but I've had different results with warping. I try to put on the thinnest layer of gesso I can by pouncing with a makeup sponge. I think sometimes I don't get complete coverage in some areas and get a little wavy-ness on my pages. I had really great results with the black gesso I used on one panel this time.

This won't be an issue on mine as they are individual panels, but if you are doing a scene, spread out over more than one fold, try to lay it out so your important parts don't lay in the creases/folds and try to apply your paint thinly. A few of the moleys that passed through my hands already had huge flaking issues where the paint was cracking off of the page. Mostly from thick applications of high gloss acrylics. I try to go thin with a matte finish. I've also had the best results with doing watercolors over a gessoed page. I haven't tried it yet but I think gouache might also work well.

And thank you all for the compliments.

I'm not worried, Jazzie. Don't sweat it!! LOL!!:biglaugh: Seriously, being in southeast Texas and riding out two major hurricanes in the past few years, I KNOW about sweltering heat and no AC. I'm just happy to see what you did in your moley so that I have some idea of what to do myself. Hope you get some relief soon. (You can come here, it's hot but we DO have AC)

I got to mail my moley today and it should arrive on Saturday.
Tracking No. 9114901159818197174059

So Jane you'll see of my accordian pages, 1-2-3 have images on them. Page 4 was prepped with gesso. If you planned on painting, you can start with that page or leave it. Either way will leave me with 3 pages to do when my moley returns.

Yay it got there - but 2-day Priority my foot!

Thanks. The signature cards are leftovers from ARTzona last year. I got them from Zazzle and you have to buy 100. There were about 40 people there, so I've been tucking some into swaps to use them up and a few other people in my last moley group did that too. I did carve the quail stamp for an ATC swap kind of as a representation of California (our state bird) and because my last name is often mispronounced and misspelled. And they had a little vote on something to decorate and the quail lost out to a cactus, so I chose to use it as my signature card for all the quail lovers in the group.

hey guys i am one of the lucky ones who gets to ship across the border.. I am so trepidatious about this as so many things get lost across the border. It costs about 8 dollars or so to ship airmail package and it costs 19 dollars to ship it tracked. Should I do it tracked, its alot of money but i feel so responsible if it gets lost. Any comments on this???

don't worry about the tracking

in the USA yes do please use tracking - I really do think they take care of our books better <G> and it's cheap to track - .69 cents last I looked

so far all the groups I've been in (many over the years) the only books lost have been stateside and sad to say it was members not sending them on - only one true case of a lost book and she did not get a tracking number

I've been lucky with Cananda - never have lost anything going or coming :)

Jane, I don't know what you were worried about? You did great!

Melissa I am in mid-moley-mode with yours. Your theme was a little bit too much freedom and paralyzed me for a long time. I decided to start where your washi tape left off - colorwise. Black and some paint that's the same color as your tape (called 'spearmint') and started with that. That's all I'm giving away right now.

kwailin777
09-25-2013, 08:57 AM
Oooh, a mystery! LOL! Jazz, I sent Tandy's Moley out yesterday. You should be getting it in 2-3 days. (tracking number is in my purse.)

jazzie
09-25-2013, 10:45 AM
On your priority box you have a beautiful birdie and 'add something if you want' or something close that I'm too lazy to get up and walk across the room to verify...

Were you talking about your moley or adding on to the priority box and passing that on in hopes that it will get back to you too?

kwailin777
09-25-2013, 10:49 AM
I was thinking of using the same box. If anyone wanted to do a quick doodle they could. However, seeing how difficult it can be to maintain a shipping box, I don't have any high expectation of it coming back to me. Just a small experiment to amuse my small thoughts! LOL! I wouldn't even worry about it. :)

jazzie
09-25-2013, 11:06 AM
I think it's a worthwhile experiment and it will probably hold up. I'm wondering when it's time to go to O Canada, if Postie behind the counter will let it go in the Priority box? Sometimes you get a stickler and I don't think you can send it Priority to Canada? Has anyone tried this?

JSilver
09-25-2013, 11:57 AM
I like that idea too. I think if we're careful it could be done. Maybe the priority box could be wrapped in brown paper for the trips international. Kind of a pain, though. GG is the one who has to make the trans border flight to Canada.

Tandy
