Hi there lovely people - since I have enjoyed our previous meets so much I thought I would organise another one.

This time at the Doncaster Dome. Tickets are available now.

I thought I would post this thread early so that people have time to organise their calendar if they want to come - it would be great to see some new faces at our meets.

I can make 22nd June, and checking trains, I can even get a cheap ticket, woohoo!

Only problem is that I would only arrive at 12.30, but if by any chance you are meeting in the afternoon, that would work.

Sounds like madness I know (to travel so far), but it would be great to meet up and do a live swap. How exciting!

Hi Bright-Spark - we usually meet up for lunch when we meet at a swap, so it gives us chance to shop in the morning and then trade swaps over lunch.

Just to let people know I may not be able to make Doncaster Dome on 22d JUne - due to circumstances beyond my control. So unless you are meeting someone else there please do not book any travel plans just to meet me. I am sorry for this x x x

Yes Mandy - the idea of a meet is to get together and have a good chin wag and trade some cards, and a bit of shopping if possible x x x

What we tend to do is pick a time and a place for the meet (say 1pm in the main entrance) and then we go for picnic/lunch/coffee and have a chin wag - then do the swapping for stuff. We then tend to go out seperate ways and do a bit of shopping. Then if time is available and people want to we will meet for a coffee before home time. I always say to people to swap mobile numbers so that we can keep in touch. It gets easier when you know people as you know who you are looking for lol. The first meet I organised I didn't know anyone so it was like looking for a needle in a haystack.
If you fancy this - then drop me a pm with your contact number and I will start to rally the troops and find out who is definately wanting to come so that we can make some arrangements.

I am sorry, I didn't organise my travel for the 22nd (following Lise Bu's post) and I am now travelling with work next week and the week after, only getting home for that weekend, so the idea of heading down to Doncaster, despite the lure of a live swap, doesn't seem such a great idea now..........
