i'll be in eugene, oregon in a little over a week!

i'll be at a job interview on the 15th in roseburg, but i'll be in Eugene, just loafing from friday the 16th until late afternoon on monday the 19th.

Maybe a few of us could get together for a little live swap? I'd love the chance to get to meet some of you IRL!

Or, maybe i can at least see a few peeps for coffee? i will bring my available cards [both atcs and rolos]!

BUT, I know that CoffeeLatte, and a few others live there...Lilbad, maybe? Have fun, I ADORE it! Go to the Saturday Market in Eugene on Saturday for some COOL local flavor. Trust me, it's awesome! And the 5th St. Market used to be awesome too, a funky cool shopping center that is all independent artisians and craft stuffs.

I'm here! I have no major plans this weekend, beyond chores and gardening. In fact, my husband is doing a major brewing project on Saturday, so the toddler and I will be looking for folks to play with.

Original Youth grew up here!? Where were you living? I've been here a long, long time...


I was born at Sacred Heart in 1976, lived in Springfield (grad of SHS) until I went to college in Fall of 1995. LOTS of awesome memories of that town; hiking at the local Buttes, shopping at Saturday Market, Valley River Mall, trips to the coast (yeah for Heceta Head!) and I could really go for some Mo's right now. :)

My brother, his wife and kid still live in Eugene; he works for Symantec. I have lots of old friends there too. One of my childhood BFF's is opening a drive-up coffee stand near the new hospital.

We had fun, didn't we? I had my camera in my purse and forgot to snap some pictures...but it sounds like there MIGHT be a next time if Amyfaerie ends up here when she moves!

It was a blast - nice to be with a group of people who don' think I'm a TOTAL dork...and there should certainly be a next time. My mom was bummed she missed it. And next time I will get kid-care or leave Arthur with Sam, so I can focus on the Art of it all.

i had an awesome time, and i had my camera too! didn't use it once! lol! it was great, and we made a good mix! i don't get to trade for hand-drawn and painted cards much, so i LOVE my cards from all of you!

woot! i'm hoping we'll hear soon about the job . . . but, i think this may be where we land regardless, if i don't get offered a teaching job soon.
