Miniature Book for Inchies Due July 18th

SIGN UP DATE: JUNE 30TH
DATE DUE: JULY 18TH
TRADE: 1 0R 2 BOOKS. You will get back what you send in. Please make them worthy to hold inchie collections!!
NUMBER OF PLAYERS : 15

This a trade for those interested in making little books. The size of the books should be about 2 1/2" tall and 2" wide(or 2 1/2" wide if you like squares.) This will give room to nicely display an inchie, and the name of the artist below it. I am planning to attach my inchies using the peelable stamp hinges used for postage stamp collecting. Then you can pick up the inchie to see the back easily.

The books don't have to be longstitch books, although they lend themselves easily to adding tip-ins. Pamphlet books will work as well. Each book should have at least 5 signatures of three pages each. The signatures should be bound neatly, but a little loosely to allow for the extra bulk of the inchies inside. The covers are on your own. DECORATE AS YOU LIKE. They can be plain, any medium, or chunky with beads and ribbon. I plan to use covered cardboard or doubled heavy cardstock. Just as long as you would be proud to give to someone else for a gift for their use as an " inchie album". I will provide the hinges when I send the finished books out to their new owners. If you need a pattern or instructions for this book, just let me know by PM and I'll get them out to you.

Please send suitable return packaging with an address label and loose postage for at least 2 ounces. I'll take care of the rest..and all international players. Sign your book very neatly on the back inside or outside cover of your book, with the date.
Any other questions, please PM me. Thanks and have fun!!

This will be a limited book swap, so sign up early if interested!

Since lots of people looked at this, but no one joined, I'll assume we aren't into bookmaking much. I am going to ask the moderators to close this thread. If you are a bookmaker, and want to trade...please send me a PM.
Thanks,
Shelly

I've done bookmaking swaps before and they were small but successful. Maybe a more open-themed swap would help. Regardless, I'll close your thread now.
