Due Date November 5th 2018
Signup/withdraw date - October 25th 2018
Number of Cards - 3 for 3
Number of participants - No limit

Definition of bucket list
: a list of things that one has not done before but wants to do before dying

What's on your list? Is there a place you want to visit, a concert you want to go to, a skill you want to learn, an adventure you want to undertake.

Illustrate your wish in any way that suits you - hand drawn, collage, paper painting, whatever you prefer.

Swap Rules

- All cards should be 2.5” x 3.5”.
- All cards should be sent in individual plastic sleeves for protection.
- Cards must be sent at least two weeks before the due date. I am in France, so this is how long it may take for international mail to arrive. Late cards will be returned at your expense.
- If you need to withdraw, that is completely fine, just let me know.
- No cards and no communication may result in neutral iTrader.
- Keep cards as flat as possible to protect them.

Postage (France)
Please include a large address label and stamps to the value your cards took to mail to me. I will provide envelopes.

Postage (International)
Please include a large address label and $2 US cash or one Global Forever Stamp. Alternatively, I can accept PayPal although I'm hoping to obtain dollars for future swaps! I will provide envelopes.

Other Info
Please message me for my address when you are ready to mail and post to the thread when you send your cards. If you already have my address, it has not changed.

When you receive your returns, please leave iTrader for me and rep points for the artists.

Please ask if you have any questions. It’s better to clarify now than have your cards sent back because they don’t meet the requirements.

I love the way you travel the world, Jo! I used to travel when I was working and had some money (but little time). Now I have time but no money :( What I do have is a place where I am really at home and I find great joy in my surroundings.

The main thing on my bucket list is sky diving. So if I just make cards with big red splats on them? ehehehehe no no I wouldn't do that. Not joining yet. Highly considering. I have other interesting stuff to do...

I am in!!!!

CastleQueen5
08-20-2018, 01:56 PM
I was thinking plane an parachute, but wow the splat works too.

I would like to also go para-sailing and I do wonder what happens when you are done in you land in the water where there are sharks.

Ok one more I want to Shark cage. I go in a cage in a shark infested water. I am sure I will pee my paints. But I promise to yellow atc for the group.

I am churning ways in my mind to express the things. Shark stamps from the USA post office for the shark cage comes to mind.

I can see the attraction to being so close sharks. They are magnificent after all. But I suspect fear would take over once I get near those teeth!!!

I can see the attraction to being so close sharks. They are magnificent after all. But I suspect fear would take over once I get near those teeth!!!

Hence the peeing of my swimsuit, which I think might entice the sharks to want to bite me. Not sure, I should google that.

Jenmcjen
08-21-2018, 08:03 PM
So @CastleQueen5, basically, the water is blue, except around your swimming suit, where it's turning greenish...
ahahahahahah

CastleQueen5
08-21-2018, 09:32 PM
So I had to google

https://www.businessinsider.com/is-it-ok-to-pee-in-the-ocean-2014-8

Bottom line

The bottom line? Pee in the ocean (but not on coral reefs) and it's unlikely that sharks will bother you. But don't pee in freshwater or small bodies of water because anecdotally, bad things might happen. Dont pee in the pool either.

How fabulous, jo.on.the.go.! I can't wait to see the art it must have inspired!

It shouldn't be too difficult to tick the Proms off your list, Greenpengirl. Why not treat yourself now to a ticket (or two) for next year?

I'd love to go to Madagascar, for the animals, the people, the landscape, the music ...

Haagma, how long does your 48 state road trip take? are you camping or hotel stays? I might need that card so I can have a map.

I would make it take as long as possible! It's over 13,000 miles and apparently it can be done in 9 days...if you literally drive solid, which is no fun. So, I'd say at least 4 weeks if not 6, which means it'll have to happen in stages or not until retirement. The ultimate bucket list item would include an RV. That's my style of camping. There are lots of websites with 48 state roadtrip maps out there, I think tripsavy.com is one of my favorites. It covers lots of great sights along the way.

I have done a few states over time. I did do AZ to Colorado to Wyoming to Utah, then to the north rim of the grand canyon which was on my bucket list to see the NORTH Rim which isnt open in the winter. ORegon and Washington will be next and in one trip. I still need to do all those sparsely populated states Montana, South Dakota, North Dakota, Idaho.
