I am cleaning out my craft room and passing on some books and other materials! I love getting new inspiration, so rather than taking them to Goodwill I am going to try to swap them here for new-to-me goodies. Here's a current list of what I have available. If you want to claim something, post here, and I will put your name next to the item. We can work out details afterwards--I just want to be fair in a first come, first served kind of way! I'll add to the list if I find more I can part with...
Books and Magazines:
(FYI--I'll mail the heavy ones book rate, which takes a little longer...all these are in quite good condition, but I do tend to bend down some corners!)
1. Stamping Fun for Beginners by McGraw (good beginner projects)
2. Make Your Own Old-Fashioned Doll (Dover publication--very folksy, painted features)
3. Adorn Magazine, Spring 2007
4.
5. Easy and Attractive Gifts You Can Sew (another Dover--too dated for my taste--has projects like a heart apron and tea cosies)
6.
7. BeadStyle September 2007
8.
9.
10. Fast, Fun and Easy Fabric Bowls
11. Getting Started With Mosaics (stapled pamphlet)
12.
13. The booklet from the Stitch It Kit by Jenny Hart
14. The Basics of Bead Stringing (stapled binding)
Other Supplies:
1. Wool and cotton rag for papermaking (that old wool allergy thing, darn it!)
2. 1 yard of quilting fabric with shoes and purses on it
3. Tan, square throw pillow designed for cross stitch (Aida fabric)
4. Needlepoint kit: "Happiness" in Chinese, all materials present but not in original package (too hard for me to count, so I di9. dn't start it)
5.
6.
7. Congratulations rubber stamp
8.
9.
10. ATC sized ziploc packed with brown shirt buttons
Beads:
What I'd like:
I would love to trade for Stampington Co. magazines that are more than two years old, polymer clay magazines, or other similar magazines (I don't really use things like cross stitch magazines, though). Make me an offer of other craft books as well--especially along the lines of collage, polymer clay, bookbinding, etc. I don't scrapbook, so I wouldn't use those books (not that I have a thing against it, mind you!).
I'd also love fabric (esp. batiks or hand-dyed), embossing powders, game pieces, pages from old dictionaries of any language, stone, wood, or ceramic beads and pendants, delicas, artsy-type rubber stamps, texture plates, and polymer clay tools.
If you don't have any of that and want some of the things I am offering, I'm open to getting other things in trade as well. Just wanted to give folks a detailed starting point!
So who's interested in my goodies?
