Yeah, I sort of have the effect of being a big iron bar drawing in all the cool fridge magnets.:biglaugh:

Seriously, I had such a good time and the experience was so stimulating that I'm still making art.:cute:

Well, ladies, here is the link to the party photos http://www.flickr.com/photos/judithann/ They are ass-backwards, but too many photos to reorganize.

The other thread closed before I could post anything so I hope it is OK to post the link here.

I had a great time and it was so nice to meet you all. Feel free to add your comments to the photos.

For those of you who were looking for an alternative to Modge Podge as a paper protector, the new product I found and love that is archival safe, easy to use, and doesn't stick is Judikins - MicroGlaze - All Purpose Paper Protector and you can purchase it online at Scrapbook.com. It is not an adhesive, just a transparent protection that you put on with you finger.

I'm hoping to do a work trip to Indy sometime this summer depending on gas prices and the progress of my research project. If it comes to pass, I'll be driving through Lafayette and staying with a friend in Zionsville, so I hope I'll get a chance to meet up with some of you (though should I be afraid after seeing the group photos?)

ruwbl - welcome to the group! Hopefully you can join us for our next live get together, but if not, you can certainly post here in our very own thread.

Plus if we get this Indy group going maybe we can plan all kinds of fun activities. There's a bar on the northside - Hot Shotz (http://hotshotzpub.com/) that has an art night on the fourth Thursday every month. I'm sure there are other places too.

Quote from a fictional Somerset Studio article:

"The Indianapolis artist group meets once a month and is open to all local artists within driving distance of Indianapolis. The group's only requirement is new members must swim the White River and wrestle a live alligator."

We need a name for our group. I'm in favor of something that creates a cool acronym. Like INKIES -- INdianapolis Kooky Independent Expressive Society"

Hi everyone! I just caught wind of this group (yes, I was standing uphill. ha ha)
I would really like to get together with you gals. Sadly, I can't make it July 19th, (boo), because I am on call at the hospital and have to be close. I take it once a month, and that is the weekend it falls on. I am so bummed out.
I definetly want to hear more about this though! Keep me posted please!

Yeah, if I survive driving through Chicago, then I'll be ready to stop for a break (or a nervous breakdown)!

"The Indianapolis artist group meets once a month and is open to all local artists within driving distance of Indianapolis. The group's only requirement is new members must swim the White River and wrestle a live alligator."

With all this rain, haven't the alligators escaped from the White River and taken up residence in the art bars?

He thought I wanted to go see "arts and craps." Now he says that all the time when I'm working on something.

Ah, husbands.... But we love them anyway....

I hope to have a better idea of my summer schedule by the end of next week and look forward to meet all y'all or whoever has the time, etc.

New topic.

In the past, I have found Evite to be very helpful in organizing get-togethers. Evite has features which allow guests to RSVP and to post what they intend to bring for potlucks. Does anyone object to using outside email addys to send event updates and reminders?

WOW the postal system works fast! Judi and I both mailed things out to each other yesterday morning and both received them this afternoon! So now I can finally post the awards everyone received:

Hostess with the Mostest
Whether she’s feeding us gourmet meals, planning fun field trips, or even going on a scavenger hunt for lost art supplies, this hostess really knows how to throw an art/pajama party! Willing to share her house, her materials, and heck even her husband when it came down to stuffing the cake  this cat is crazy about her new art pals. That is why I’m proud to present Cathy with the “Hostess with the Mostest” award!

Salmonella Survivor
Did Snow White let eating a poison apple stop her from kissing Prince Charming and living happily ever after? Then why would a little tomato induced Salmonella stop Dana from attending the Cat’s Pajamas? This devoted ATC’er left her bird, her man, and her porcelain throne to make an appearance . . . and that is why I’m proud to present Dana with the “Salmonella Survivor” award!

Doppler Radar
The raging waters of a flood couldn’t hold this artist back from getting to an art retreat. If there is an open road, she’ll take it. If there are no roads open, she’ll find one . . . even if that means taking a detour into another state! Constantly checking the weather and road updates for an opportunity to head north, even if it means missing most of the fun, she will not let you down. That is why I’m proud to present Katie with the “Doppler Radar” award!

Silent but Deadly
She may be the quiet type, but don’t let that fool you, this artist has a lot to say . . . and when she speaks, you’d better listen. Whether she’s giving you advice about marriage, art supplies or techniques, or just making you laugh with one of her witty comments, everything she has to say is worth the wait! That is why I’m proud to present Judi with the “Silent but Deadly” (in an awesome way of course) award!

Smitten
For love or for art? That is the question. Although all of the ladies at our pj party have significant others, this particular artist was glowing from head to toe. She also let us in on her little secret about the 4 month rule, and it looks like this one’s a keeper. Being able to separate business from pleasure, she put her new man aside to come hang out with the ladies, and put her cell phone down to pick up a gel pen. That is why I’m proud to present Janet with the “Smitten” award!

Can't wait to do it again!

How about best friend bonding? Although I think I mentioned that my girlfriend would be coming with me, I want to make sure there is room. Hugs to all. Janet

Good news! I can come now on July 19th - trading someone a Saturday for a Saturday of call. I won't be able to stay the night, but I would love to spend the day with the group. I would also like to bring my Mom too - if that is alright. We can bring a card table or more if we need - just let me know if you have room. It sounds like so much fun!!

adriayna
07-01-2008, 11:32 AM
ANYONE is welcome to come! Friends, moms, etc. The more the merrirer for papermaking!

Some papermaking instructions:

You should start saving up "stuff" for paper making. Dried flowers and weeds, grasses, little bits of paper, dryer lint, tea, anything small and not too hard. Lace works well, as does colorful napkins, glitter, and so forth.

KatieV
07-01-2008, 05:00 PM
OOoh, I can get tons of dryer lint. The people in my apartment complex never empty those lint thingies :D

Do you use new tea in tea bags or tea that we've already used?

adriayna
07-02-2008, 01:14 PM
Either works. Both work nice. I say drink the tea first. If you use tea bags that haven't been used, they give more color :)

Janjo33
07-02-2008, 09:28 PM
My girlfriend (Lisa) and I both have our own mold, deckle, press and trays that we will bring. Our molds are a little bigger than 8.5 X 11. Lisa's dad made them for us. :wubclub: I also have a lovely paper recipe book that I will bring and some dried mint leaves.

We have always used the underbed storage tubs as trays. What size are your molds, Adriayna? I think I have some of this type of tub empty up in my attic that I could bring. I also will bring my blender.

As you can tell, I am getting psyched up!

xraypinky

Are we using evite for this gathering?
I saw it mentioned earlier in the thread - I just signed up for an account. I have no idea how to use it, or the features or anything.

Also, will the shiny metallic confetti shapes work for papermaking, or is that too big?

adriayna
07-03-2008, 01:44 AM
Metallic might work, it depends on how big. The issue is that if it is on the outside of the paper, it usually falls off. But we can try it!

The only thing I don't have in abundance are tubs for the pulp, actually. So yeah, Janjo, please bring a few extra tubs! I used to use the tupperware containers but I filled them with stuff, hahaha!

My mould and deckle sets are mostly 8.5x11" + 1" on each side for the wood. I also have a 11x16 one that is just freaking cool.

I need everyone to PM me an outside email addy so I can use that for the Evite group box. I'm traveling at the moment, so you can either PM me here or email me at crazycat66@gmail.com

Janjo33
07-07-2008, 05:02 PM
I have 3 extra empty trays out in my garage that I will bring. These are all the large underbed storage containers which gives room to dip the mould and deckle and have room for your hands.
I actually store my paper making supplies in an underbed storage tub so that everything is together. I have excess scrap paper in there as well as equipment.
And I have 6 or 8 one gallon plastic ice cream tubs which are great for holding pulp as we blend batches up, so I will bring those, too.
Janet

adriayna
07-07-2008, 09:43 PM
That would be great. Unfortunately, I have many more supplies than only one box will hold! I think I'm currently at 5-6 large boxes plus some small ones. I've been doing this for over 15 years, hahahaha!

Yeah, as far as I know it is :). Cathy? Are we still ok to use your home for this on the 19th?

crazycat
07-09-2008, 09:15 AM
The 19th is still on, but I haven't sent the evite because not everyone had given me an outside email addy before I left on my vacation. I'll compile the addys I have and send it out later today, I'm still a bit wobbly from the drive home yesterday...

adriayna
07-09-2008, 09:56 AM
Cathy, did we set a time? Can we start pretty early so that the paper will have time to dry?

I recommend others bring some other art supplies--we will need to give a few hours of drying time after making it :)

crazycat
07-09-2008, 10:26 AM
We can start at the crack of dawn, if that's what everyone wants to do. When do you suggest we start? 8? 9? 10?

adriayna
07-09-2008, 12:19 PM
9 or 10 would be great. I can get there by 9-9:30 and start setting up. It will require about a 1/2 hour setup time at least.

Janjo33
07-15-2008, 11:11 PM
I will bring 1 or 2 tables. I have a small "conference" table that's about 2 feet by 40 inches and I think I have a regular card table in the garage - I just have to find it - LOL

adriayna
07-16-2008, 08:42 AM
I think I have a regular card table. But I might be bringing a full car of people and supplies, so I'm not sure if I can bring it!

Cathy, do you have any buckets and boards? those would work too, in a pinch :). The only other thing I know we will need is a hose and also an extension cord for the blender.

crazycat
07-16-2008, 11:29 AM

We've got outlets and extension cords and I'll ask hubby to hook up the hose. I think I have one bucket left over from my Girl Scout days. I'll try and locate it.

Weather man is predicting hot hot hot so I'm preparing the garage to use instead of the deck. We can still use the deck, but I'm thinking it will be too hot and at least in the garage we can have fans blowing air. :spinny:

adriayna
07-16-2008, 12:15 PM
That is great! Hot hot hot means paper dries nice and fast. We will make paper in the garage, and press it outside and let it dry. Woot!

I think I'm bringing 2 people with me. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to pick up one of them--she is currently in Carmel for the summer, and lives very close. I will have my hands (and car) full of papermaking stuff!

Hi everyone,

I live in Indiana too (although it says I live in the Twilight Zone in my profile lol)! I was wondering, do you guys get together sometimes to do crafty atc stuff? If so, then what are the dates and where do you meet?

Janjo33
07-20-2008, 02:45 PM
frozenfire, We'd love for you to join us! Of course we make ATCs and at our first get together we made ATCs at a sleepover. This past weekend we made paper and many of us plan to use it in ATCs of course. In August we're going to do block printing after carving our own linoleum blocks - it will be fun! I've already forgotten the date, so crazycat or Adriayna will probably post the info here.
Janet:)

Yikes! We had decided on August 17th, but (pleading exhaustion) I've now remembered that's hubby's birthday. I don't think that's going to be an issue, but I'll need to discuss with him. We like to make a fuss over him on his birthday, but he isn't always into being fussed over. :cute:

frozenfire, PM me an outside email and I'll add you to the evite list we're using for this group.

Yay!

I'd like to start organizing for our NEXT get together--block printing. Can everyone start by listing what they have? I will need to purchase blocks (which we can all chip in on). Does anyone also want their own carving tools (that do not already have them?) I can get those as well. I'm putting in an order to Dick Blick this upcoming week.

I have

--Wooden blocks
--Lino blocks (limited)
--Brayer
--Glass for paint
--block paint (don't like it though- we'll use acrylic!)
--carving set

KatieV
07-22-2008, 12:25 PM
What kind of carving tools do we need? I saw this on DickBlick: http://www.dickblick.com/zz402/03/

I have:
-- small brayer -- I think it's 5 inches wide (hope it doesn't matter that it's dirty!)
-- a glass cutting board (do we need glass for printing?)
-- a few white erasers that could be carved

I also have cheap acrylic paints if those are useful.

Janjo33
07-22-2008, 01:09 PM
Lisa and I both have brayers and I intend to use my son's wood carving tools - he has one of those sets of 6 or 8 different shape blades. I think Lisa said she has a piece of glass and I will have to look for mine! Tell us about the paint because I also have lots of bottles of acrylic paint. Or are you going to get a big bottle of black?

I looked at Blick's and see 12 3X4 linoleum blanks for 4.49 - is that what you're thinking of? I guess I wasn't aware that we need wood blocks - you have plenty of those?

Sorry I didn't make this a "list" of what I own and you had to read through my rambling reply! LOL

adriayna
07-22-2008, 05:34 PM
No, they aren't really wood blocks. They are like a lino block with wood in it. Its hard to explain.

Yeah, I was going to buy some lino blocks and also some other stamp cutting stuff--some harder, some softer, so people can try out different types.

Cheap acrylic paint is the way to go, really :). And you don't want just black--it depends on what you are making. A reduction print would use several different types. Ink pads are also useful for smaller stamp-like carvings.

Katie--that speedball set is EXACTLY what you need!

KatieV
07-22-2008, 05:44 PM
Cool! Then I'll want to order one of those when you do your big order. How many blocks will we each get?

I have pigment ink pads and dye ink pads - can bring those along with the cheapie paints.

Hi

Your next meet that you are talking about, is that on Aug 17, in Carmel?

Janjo33
07-23-2008, 02:36 PM
Yes - the date is Aug 17th in Carmel. Unless we change because it's actually Crazycat's husband's birthday. Not sure we've discussed or firmed up whether to keep the date.

Janet

Sorry I got so many questions. Is there anything I would need to bring? How long does it usually last. And what do you guys do.

KatieV
07-23-2008, 03:59 PM
Well, everytime is a little different - we've only met twice so far. We're trying to figure out how much we have for the printmaking, and then there will probably be a list of things we need. Adriayna's putting together an order on DickBlick for the blocks, so we'll give her money for that.

adriayna
07-23-2008, 05:52 PM
We are going to do block printing next.

Ok, I will order a set for Katie. Does anyone else want/need a speedball set?

I will order some of these: Soft Cut blocks (very nice!) http://www.dickblick.com/zz404/01/

And some of these:

http://www.dickblick.com/zz404/20/

This is the stuff i already have that I will bring. Its a little hard to work with, IMHO:

So what are all the supplies i need to have for this, I really have no clue what's involved. and if you are ordering this stuff. how much does it cost and do I need to bring some money when I come?

Hi y'all - I don't have exact dates yet, but it looks like I'm going to be visiting Indy around the weekend of Aug. 9-10. I'm probably going to be there 5-6 days depending on my research schedule, which I hope to have sorted by the end of this week (famous last words). I don't want anyone to have to go out of their way or anything, but I'd love to meet up and trade as all our schedules permit. I'll be driving through Lafayette on my way into and out Indy, of course, and as I mentioned before will be staying with my friend/former professor in Zionsville.

adriayna

frozenfire - the links above will give you an indication of the cost. For the block printing set and a few blocks, about $15 with shipping. Or we can share tools, and then I'll just ask for people to donate a few bucks for the blocks :). I dont' know how many sets we will have for sure, as so far its just me and Janet that have sets, and Katie wants me to order one for her. So that is three.

KatieV
07-24-2008, 10:37 AM
Would it help if I got the tool set with two handles? It's only a few dollars more, and that way more people could carve at once.

adriayna
07-24-2008, 12:01 PM
If you really want, Katie. Its up to you! Two isn't really a bad thing if you are doing a lot of different carving.

Today, I went to the Michael's in Westfield (off of Meridian) and they have sheets of mat board on clearance for $1 a sheet. These are 3'x3' sheets in all sorts of colors and textures. OK, Janjo just pointed me here. I don't know how groups work on this forum, or what Evite is - but I'm a fast learner!

I can't do anything else in August - all weekends are booked! And Crazycat, my dh's birthday is the 16th. :)

But, I do find it pretty easy to get to Indy - my folks live in Whiteland (just south of Greenwood) and I can drop my dd off with them for a visit and head on north. Maybe sometime in the near future!

Thanks!

Hi everyone - I'm planning to drive down from Wisconsin to Zionsville on Friday, Aug. 8 and drive back to Wisconsin on Friday Aug. 15. I don't want to hijack this thread so if you're interested in meeting up send me a pm before this Friday with your phone number and I'll send you my cell and hopefully we can coordinate something! Welcome Mingo! Did you subscribe to the thread? Adriayna will add your name at the front of the thread. Evite is another website that allows free get together planning with email invitations and a place to put in responses. But we won't plan our next crafting party until we're at the Aug 17th one. crazycat
08-06-2008, 08:40 PM
Last time I drove around for 45 minutes before I found your house! :) That's all part of the adventure, Dana!

To Crazycat's House:

From I-465 (N) take the Carmel exit. You'll take Keystone north until you reach 116th, turn right on 116th.
:policeman:Watch out for speed traps! :policeman:
Drive until you see an elementary school on your right. The next right is Haverstick. Turn right on Haverstick. You will pass the elementary school on your right, come to a stop sign, and then on your LEFT you will see Rolling Springs Dr. Turn left and continue on Rolling Springs.
The SECOND LEFT will be Wood Ct. and my house (11105) is on the corner. We have a large driveway with a (unused) basketball hoop. You can pull up and park wherever there's black top.:)

PLEASE NOTE: Rolling Springs is a long and rambling street. DO NOT TURN OFF OF 116th ON TO ROLLING SPRINGS DR. as this is the wrong half of Rolling Springs and will only result in you being lost and getting cranky.

Funny story: I bought a Crop-a-dile in 2007 (on sale) and had not opened it. Today my son has been struggling to punch holes in some leather with other tools - I'm like, well, we could try this Crop-a-dile - still in the package. As if we didn't all have enough to do in our lives...

I have been wanting to do a zine FOREVER and I saw this (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15165283) posted on Etsy and thought "ARTinG can do that!" We could call it "ARTinG Around" or something like that.:twitcy:

I am willing to front the cash and do all the physical labor involved in the actual production, if some of you would be willing to contribute articles and artwork. Speaking honestly (= not trying to butter anyone up) all of us have creative talent and knowledge that can be shared with a wider audience.

We could offer it on Etsy (and here too I suppose?) and charge just enough to cover the cost of the first issue and lay the ground work for a 2nd issue (oh yes, I'm thinking ahead!).

What do you think? Please, please say yes! I so want to do this!!!!!:jiggy:

What about writing up one of our meetings for the Art Trader? No printing costs :D

Okay - back to our chunky play date. How does Sunday, Oct 12th, sound to everyone? Lisa has made some needle felted bases that are to die for! Janet

I can do the 12th, but the 19th would be better for me. What you all?

Mingo
09-19-2008, 10:40 PM
I'm out the 19th at a stitching retreat. But, really, no idea if I could make the 12th either - depends on when this family three-day weekend we're trying to take might actually happen...and that depends on weather (we need a river to rise with some rain...)

I'll just watch and see what happens!

adriayna
09-19-2008, 11:37 PM
I can do either the 12th or the 19th.

Janjo33
09-20-2008, 12:54 AM
I'm working 12 hours on the 19th (also the 18th, 25th & 26th) in Lafayette at the new Clarian Arnett hospital. I'll be doing computer support in the lab. If everyone decides on the 19th, I'll be

adriayna
09-20-2008, 09:45 AM
Hey Janet! I live in Lafayette! Do you need a place to crash or someone to eat dinner with one night?

And we can also discuss a possible christmas gift swap!

Cool! It's on the chunky-a-thon weekend!

adriayna
09-22-2008, 12:18 AM
We always manage to do that, lol.

Mingo
09-22-2008, 02:42 AM
So, *if* I can make it and it's the 12th - would I feel left out if I'm not doing chunkies? I mean, of course I get to meet everyone, etc. - but just wondering... ;)

(Really, I'm trying to avoid other temptations. First ATCs, then inchies, now rolos...DH isn't really thrilled!)

adriayna
09-22-2008, 09:08 AM
You could create other stuff, I'm sure. We were making chunkies to trade there though. So its up to you.

And I think once you see my chunky book collection, it will be hard to resist! (although my best chunky books are on my wall, not easily transportable!)

Janjo33
09-22-2008, 01:40 PM
Thanks for the offer, but right now I'm planning to drive back and forth and be away from home only 14.5 hours each day. I've got kids and a house to check in on - my same excuse why I won't go anywhere fun either - like Chicago

Hey Janet! I live in Lafayette! Do you need a place to crash or someone to eat dinner with one night?

Janjo33
09-22-2008, 01:49 PM
Mingo - I sure hope you can join us! Everyone will be doing mixed media on the chunkies, but our chosen main color is turquoise so there will be lots of turquoise supplies I bet. Also, crazycat is cutting bases for us out of mat board, so that part will be taken care of. But you can always work on ATCs instead because that's our first love.

adriayna
09-22-2008, 01:51 PM

Other, more practical matters:

Mingo, are you on the Evite list? I have added some emails that I don't recognize so I'm not sure if your're on or not.

crazycat
09-29-2008, 12:00 PM
In other news...

I'm definitely going to the RenFair on Sunday the 5th. Is anyone else going to be there? If so, do we want to hook up at some point?

Mingo
09-29-2008, 11:10 PM
It looks like I will make it the 12th. :)

It's a bit convoluted - I'm in between travel weekends and my parents' 57th wedding anniversary. So...I'm driving to their house, dropping off Kate, and heading north to Carmel. DH is riding his bicycle up to my folks' around 4:30ish. Then, I'll be going back to my folks' and most likely out to dinner with them for their anniversary before we all drive back to Nashville.

If you aren't confused, would you explain it to me? LOL!

Anyway - I'll bring ATC stuff, find a non-chunky corner, and listen to the chatter. Looking forward to it!

DH is riding his bicycle up to my folks'

I was with you up to that point, then I was lost. Where is he riding from???

Mingo
09-30-2008, 12:26 PM
DH rides from our house in Nashville to my parents - just off exit 95 in Whiteland. It's about a 50 mile ride for him, so a good training ride.

Makes it nice - Kate and I can drive up (with his rack and clothes in the car) and then he can come at his leisure, not have to hang out with my folks all day, and do something he loves.

We just have to hope for decent weather....

Ladies, I know we briefly talked about doing a secret santa swap or something. Or we could do that "mean santa" swap-- you know where everyone brings one gift (like art supplies) and then opens it and then people can steal others' gifts? I'm just thinking out loud here.

KatieV
09-30-2008, 05:24 PM
That would be easier -- we'd only have to get one gift ready instead of trying to figure out exactly how many people would come. But that game is mean!! :D

adriayna
09-30-2008, 06:20 PM
LOL, it would be really fun to play with art supplies though! I can't remember the exact title of the game. Is it really mean santa? LOLOL. I know just what I'd bring.

KatieV
09-30-2008, 06:37 PM
When we did it someone called it a chinese auction. Definitely not PC!

crazycat
09-30-2008, 07:41 PM
We used to play it at Christmas and we called it GREED. It's silly, but if everyone is having fun it's hardly mean.

You do need to stick to a 3 trade rule, tho or it can go on forever...

Are we playing it this time or in November?

adriayna
09-30-2008, 08:03 PM
We should play closer to the holidays. I was just thinking about what we might do for the holiday season. Thinking out loud...lol

crazycat
10-03-2008, 12:23 AM
While we're on the topic of holidays...

I have all this soap making stuff and thought it might be fun to make gift soaps. Not just plain soaps, but soaps with art inside! We could laminate twinches or inches and put them inside the glycerin soaps. Alternatively, we could make the bars and then wrap them in decorative papers with ribbons and stuff. What do you think??

adriayna
10-03-2008, 07:32 PM
I have soapmaking stuff too! You know, I have a lot of colors. We might be able to make artistic soaps. Its super easy too--just requires a microwave.

Well Ladies, I had a great time!!!! I hope you did too! And boy was that pizza to die for!

So when are we on for next month? Mid-November?

Ruwbl, I hope you can make it! :) :) :). I want to meet you! Is saturday or sunday better for you?

I'm finally home. Kopper Kettle wasn't really that bad tonight. (Actually, their food is always good, I just prefer other dining options!)

I promised I'll finish chunky pages sometime in the near future. And I'll get back on weekends in Nov.

Thanks again, Crazycat, for a great afternoon! Just wish there was more of it! :)

Janjo33

Mingo - I finshed your chunky up at home and have posted it here. Glad to hear you plan to finish yours because my book needs one more page to be just the right thickness. :D

adriayna, Sundays usually work best for me although I can make a Saturday work as well, but I need to know enough in advance to request off from my second job. (I work part time at an Archivers scrapbook store).

I was also curious about how well you liked the crop-a-dile big bite. I really like my regular crop-a-dile, but have not been at all excited by the big bite.

Mingo
10-13-2008, 12:19 PM
Oh, Jan - it's wonderful! I'll be pleased to add it to my "book" - when I get it finished.

Obviously, I need to slow up somewhere. I had a dream last night that I had a swap due "today" that I'd totally forgotten. Sort of like college finals week, when you dream you forgot to attend a class.... :)

But, I also got a great idea for one of my swaps this morning, too - so that's fun! And, while I was falling asleep last night, I was thinking about all the teal "stuff" I have around here that would work nicely on my book pages, so....

adriayna
10-13-2008, 12:35 PM
Ruwbl, I really like the big bite. The little one didn't punch holes far enough in. I find it a little less cumbersome to use because of the bigger handle--you can put some more force into it. So yeah, I like it :)

So can we set a tentative date then? Sundays seem good for everyone.

How does the 2nd week in November sound -- November 15th?

(I'm just throwing this out there. Any weekend except for around thanksgiving works for me).

adriayna
10-13-2008, 12:35 PM
