As some of you might know, I have a step daughter that is getting married in August. I am going to make her a fabric journal for her first year where she can write on pages and insert them into the journal and have areas on the opposite page for her to store pictures of the special days of her first year of marriage. Also she has asked me to make her a guest book. First time doing a book, but looking forward to it. Any advice on paper to use for it?

What I need are various fibers (1 yard lengths) and fabrics (12" X 12") in shades of whites and creams. The fabrics can be a print on print for interest.

Maybe I have something to trade that you would like...

Dictionary pages
Old black and white photo's
Dictionary pages from a medical dictionary
Music sheets
Ticket stubs (red and white with black numbers)
Sewing patterns

Something else you'd be interested in trading for? Just send me a pm!

Thanks so much!!!

How long is a yard? lol

Oh sorry Loralou, a yard is 3 feet in our measurments. If you take a strand of yarn, hold one point to the end of your nose, the other point at the end of your arm outstreatched, that is a yard. Did that just make any sense?

I would happily send you some fibre and fabric.

I also have a piece of hand made white felt, which is only approx 7in by 13in, but you could maybe use it as contrast/edging? It has some silver fibres partly felted in. It has been looking for a good home for a while, and this sounds like it....

PM me your address and I'll send you a load of fibres. I have material somewhere but haven't the oomph to dig, but can lay my hands on the fibres and threads with no trouble!

I have white satin brocade that I used for my daughter in laws guest book and lots of extra guest book pages. I also have white and cream fibers and bridal tulle and lace piece trims in addition to sheer light pink bags with satin ribbon ties that were used for favors. PM me if you want this stuff. My package to you will be shipping today. I have tons of "good stuff" in every corner of my house, including but not limited to my dining room table, my guest room, my workshop and my office. I am so-o-o-o happy to share with you. I forgot to put the bridal tulle in the package but I did add an extra 'still in package' garter suitable for wearing or scrapbooking and vintage lace trims. have fun! Berkeley
