Theme- A B C Twinchie

This is an open theme, but probably works better as collage or digital

Cards need to be 2" x 2" square, made from firm card, NOT paper, decorated and embellished if you wish - these are also a good size for using as card toppers.
Any embellishments need to be well secured!
There are a few restrictions on theme - no porn, religious, political

Please pop cards in a little envie (paper or plastic), to protect your work, and add your user name, date and where you are from on back of each card.
Please also enclose an addressed envelope or label for the returns - UK SASE, International SAE, or label - I will cover postage for these.
The swap is for 3 cards only!
Please comment in thread, when cards are posted and when returns are received, and when you receive your returns, PLEASE don't forget to leave reps for each other, I know this is not enforcable, but most players like to know where there cards have ended up. Feedback on the swap would also be appreciated!
Please pm me for my address (if you don't have it already), when you are ready to send Twinchies to me!

The closing date for sign up / Cancellation is 14th August.
This will be an on-time swap, so please make sure you get these posted in time, if International, allow 7-10 days minimum to get from abroad to UK! Any late cards will be returned.

No, sorry smokey... I had to replace my computer (it broke unexpectedly last June) and I still haven't connected this one to any device. I'm waiting for my hubby to tranfer my old stuff to this new one before I can say I'm operational again.
And then, I made the twinchies (and some other swaps) during the month I had no PC at all... so I didn't scan them at all.
I quite like how these turned out anyway....... ;)

I can certainly relate to your computer problems, I've had them myself AND I rely on my hubby to "fix" everything for me:) No problem, I was just curious about your "mounting" procedure. Hopefully, Ria will scan and upload for me:)

Well, that is nothing special -I just mounted my twinchies on a piece of cardstock using normal, transparent photocorners. I only used two though (on two opposite corners), so to make it easier to take them out. Really, nothing special. :)

I'm shipping mine today, so given them 7 days to get there, they should be there by the 28th, correct? ... Sorry, I was out of town for an emergency and tried contacting Ria but haven't gotten a reply and I want to make sure that I can still do this. I'm going to be home in less than 4 hours, and my post office is 24 hours so I will ship as soon as I get home. I just want to make sure I won't get cut out because of the family emergency, as I will feel horrible. :(

Nice cards! As for your questions, Ria is in the UK, so yes, you are international (for her). For overseas, it is usually best to give the mail longer than a week; that being said, I have tended to have things arrive more quickly to the UK from Canada, than to the States from Canada. Go figure! I think if you ship immediately, there's definitely a chance of the cards arriving on time.

Hi all, I hadn't got back to this thread as I have family visiting, my sister has come over from Cyprus to stay with me for a few weeks. Yes Siena is right - to me you are international, I am only asking UK, ( which would Include Ireland, Scotland, Wales and surrounding islands to help with the cost of postage in this swap).
Digital is fine, I make no demands on what medium anyone feels comfortable with, I only stipulate that I don't think it's fair to just put a sticker on a piece of card and add nothing else and call it 'art'. Everyone has their own style and medium and I respect that!
I will hold on for your cards to arrive - post is very unpredictable - I have had cards arrive so quickly within a couple of days and others which dawdle a bit, and I know you have a family crisis ( and you informed me ) so I think it fair to wait awhile! And before I forget - love the cards!!!!!!
Apologies guys for being a bit lax, I will have a couple of days spare where I will a bit more attentive, my sister and partner are going to visit another sister for 3 to 4 days - so I will catch up before they come back.
