Hello everyone. I think I finally found a place and time for us to have our first meeting! Au Bon Pain and then the Art Institute of Chicago!
Saturday, July 12th
1pm - ? (whenever we decide we're done or the museum closes)
Au Bon Pain @ 122 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60603
(this is between Millenium Park and the Art Institute) then...
The Art Institute of Chicago
(there is a highlights tour starting at 2pm and it's free with admission which is $12/adult)
Themes to vote on:

Desserts
Stars and Stripes
(the theme with the most votes by June 25th will be the winner)

Agenda
Make one card in the selected theme to enter the "lotto swap" and then bring any other cards that you would like to trade and we can do that too. We might have up to 11 people so I am planning to bring at least that many cards. This is so much fun but, of course, completely optional.
We will chat, trade and perhaps eat a little and then head over to the museum for exploration and inspiration!
Please contact me if you need information about how to get there. I am planning to take the Metra (Union Pacific Northwest line) into Ogilvie station and then walk to Au Bon Pain.
I know that there are buses, L / el (?) trains, and taxi transport available from near the Metra stations and that there is a parking garage or two very near Au Bon Pain and the Art Institute.
