THIS SWAP IS FULL

Water cards can be humorous or serious, but please make the majority of the focus your original art: hand-drawn, hand-painted, needle art, or collages with personally-constructed elements. For example, sometimes I draw the central figure and cut it apart to make collage templates. Sometimes, I wield the scissors freehand or tear the paper. Other ideas are welcomed as well—just be sure to send in the quality of work you’d like to receive in return. (Check with me first if you are unsure.) Some bulk is fine, but extra postage would be appreciated. The requirements are the standard 2.5X3.5 inch size and fitting inside an ATC sleeve.

On the back of your cards, please write

alternative contact information (optional)

Please put your user name on everything, including the back of your return envelope or mailing label, to help avoid confusion.

Please put all cards in card protectors.

US participants, please enclose a SASE (62 cents) with your cards (and some extra postage if you made very bulky cards or are sending an oversized envelope for returns).

International participants, please enclose a self addressed envelope. I will cover your postage.

An extra card would be appreciated, but is not required. Late cards will be returned.

When you are ready to send your cards, PM me for my address.

Hi. My computer upgrade is still underway. After two days of frustration & colorful vocabulary, my husband has nearly completed the transfer of my files, etc.

Everyone -- I can hardly believe that everything arrived on time without a hitch!! I'm planning a week's vacation in New England with my sister starting the 15th, so I was cutting it pretty close. I'll be swapping out today & mailing tomorrow. Please send feedback as soon as you can, so I can address any problems if they arise.

[BTW I have a nice scanner up for grabs. It doesn't speak to Vista, but otherwise does a nice job. Software & manual are included -- free for the cost of shipping. If you know someone who's scan-less & interested, have them PM me.]

Wow! The swapping-out is done.That and packaging all the cards took the entire day. It was great fun, but the process increased my admiration for those who provide us with unlimited swaps. I may be missing the necessary gene for 6 concurrent, unlimited swaps. (My husband says that he sympathizes with their spouses, but he did enjoy everybody's cards & was most insistent that I trade for his favorites. His advice was easy to take because there were so many good choices :D.)

For your trivia file ---
No one lived in the same locale. We had 12 states & one international:
IN, KS, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, ND, NJ, OR, SC, WA, & England :yes:
Media included:
collage, mixed media collage, cross-stitch, needle art, beading work, alcohol ink, watercolor, pen, markers, acrylics, gel pens, vellum, and other techniques I'm unknowledgeable about. I'd love to hear about those I left out :huh:.
