Vintage Christmas Postcard Swap

Hello and Happy Early Christmas. Welcome to my Vintage Christmas Postcard swap. A little late I know but due to swap rules I had to wait till now. Anyway, I hope the lateness won't stop you from joining.

OK here we go. You don't need real postcards for this swap, just go to flickr and search "Vintage Christmas Postcards" and all you have to do is print. So when you have the postcards you want you will take at least three and cut out your favorite parts. Example. I may cut a Santa, angel, and snowman out of a postcard and I have three parts to work with. Then on my blank postcard I will arrange them making a collage. The postcards don't have to be "blank" you can use holiday paper and what not as your background. Then after I have my collage I will add whatever extras I want...in moderation. Buttons, ribbon, brads, glitter etc. And wa-la you have a Vintage Christmas Postcard!

You can use any number of postcards as long as you use at least three
Whatever postcard size is OK; 5x4, 6x5, etc
Put your user name and real name on the backs



USA players please send a SASE, make sure you use enough postage
International players please send a SAE and $3.00 postage

I sent my cards yesterday. In antique stores, I always look through the vintage cards and photos because my niece has a collection she started before she started school. It was fun making these cards.

Received beautiful cards when I came home from work, really a Christmas early, thanks to TNtallgal and thoughtful not signing back incase I could ever think of mailing it (maybe to myself), littlelila with wonderful Santa and lots of great collaging, and the wonderful card with matching envelope set (and the kitty looks like my dearly loved Jungle Tiger) from isesjean.
