Christmas is approaching, and my usual modus operandi for December is to try to tune out as much of the commercial jangling as possible, and avoid shopping malls like the plague. So, instead I thought I'd make a card or two that focused on the real reason for the season. This card is Mary, the mother of Jesus. Without her (and the words written on the left side of the card), there'd be no Christmas.
This is acrylic and silver gel pen on watercolour paper. [Sorry, the scan isn't the clearest because the silver is shiny, but the words read "Let it be to me according to your word." It is easier to read on the actual card.] |
