Title Red Sun
Description The sun us almost below the tree line. One last picture. I wore an elastomeric P100 respirator to get this shot. I am standing on our driveway facing west. The smoke has been visible all day. This is NOT a photographic filter - the SMOKE is making the sun appear red to the naked eye and the picture captured it. (The smoke is a result of a large number of Canadian wildfires that are burning due north.)

That is EXACTLY the color of the sun I observed about 20 minutes ago; I’m in eastern Pennsylvania. I, too, was masked (KN 95) and I could hardly breathe. I had been reading about the deadly particles in the air and the way they get caught in the lungs and cannot be expelled. Now at 6:40 the eastern sky is a pinkish-grey.
