Kawaii is the Japanese word for cute, so this swap is all about Japanese cuteness!
Cute elements can be found almost everywhere in Japan, from big business to corner markets and national government, ward, and town offices. Many companies use cute mascots to present their wares and services to the public. For example:
Pikachu, a character from Pokémon, adorns the side of three All Nippon Airways passenger jets.
Asahi Bank used Miffy (Nijntje), a character from a Dutch series of children's picture books, on some of its ATM cards.
All 47 prefectures have cute mascot characters
The Japan Post "Yū-Pack" mascot is a stylized mailbox.
The Japan Post also uses other cute mascot characters, for example, on stamps.

So in this swap you make 3 very kawaii cards!!! You can use the already excisting characters or make your own very kawaii creature
Any medium is accepted. But I love hand drawn cards...
Send originals of your work on sturdy 2.5 x 3.5 cards. Scanned copies are not acceptable. And please do not just cut out a image from a magazine and glue it on a card.
I will cover postage (there are not many here from Holland...) but please send a address label with your real name and screen name and the swap name on it. Also write your username at the back of your cards. Extra atcs or goodies are appreciated but not required. If you are from the US a loose stamp would be nice, so I can use them for other swaphosts. But also not required.
Please sign up/withdraw by March 31th
Cards are due to me by April 16th. So that means a lot of time. Any late cards will be returned as it is not fair to those who get their cards in early and on time. Notice that I'm in The Netherlands, so sent your cards on time...
Swap is limited to 15 artists. I will pm my mailing address after you sign up.
