Welcome to the Mid-MARCH Pick-A-Theme (PAT) Swap!
Please note ~ all artists must have:
• an established positive iTrader rating of +15
• no negatives within the last 6 months
• no neutrals for lack of cards/communication within the last 3 months
General Information:
1. Pick a group, then pick a theme.
2. Make one card for each person in your group, using each person’s selected theme.
3. Receive four in return in the theme you selected.
4. You may sign up for one or two groups.
5. Please have a theme chosen within three days of signing up.
6. Many group members start their cards right away, so you cannot withdraw once you've picked a theme.
7. Please read ALL instructions and ask questions BEFORE signing up
Mailing Information:
All cards should be sent in individual plastic sleeves.
Please include your username and Group # on all envelopes and cards.
Also, please put the recipient’s username on each card you make.
International participants ~ please include a large label or slip of paper with your address clearly printed on it. US postage, dollar bills (one for each group), postage from your country if you host swaps (I can take Paypal if this helps, PM me).
US Participants ~ please include a self addressed envelope with .65 postage.
If you are in 2 groups, add another .20 postage. Extra postage if you send very heavy cards is appreciated.
Theme Information:
EASY/REGULAR THEMES: It is easy to think up a card, find a reference or an image for a collage for it. Examples of easy themes: fairies, cats, dogs, marine life, flowers, windows Examples of regular themes: dogs, fairies, sunflowers, zetti
ADVANCED/CHALLENGING THEMES: these usually require research and reference and substantial thought and effort. Examples of advanced themes: characters from books or movies, obscure themes such as "Pug Dogs in Outer Space," themes that are difficult to interpret like music or a difficult poem or it´s harder to find a reference or image for it.
ANYTHING GOES MEDIA..means you may make or receive any type of media in return on your theme. You may make all of one media or mix and match (e.g. one felted card, one HD card, 2 collage cards, for example). Pick your theme as usual.
