I did receive my pencil. Will work on it this week and hopefully have it in the mail after this weekend...

Hi. I did rvc the card from Penlowe to work, on and frankly I am stuck as what to do. I just wanted to let you know I am just waiting for the right idea to strike me. My inspiration has sorta fizzled out. hmmmm

Dang, maybe I should have done more. I was trying to give it a tone but leave it open to 'final' art. Wanna send it back?

No, Penlowe I don't need to send it back, I think I got it! I know it's a little dark, but I like the way it turned out. I used your firey colors and black dashes and turned them into fire and popping embers. I will mail out to you later in the week, Mistiko as Monday is Labor Day here in the USA, and the post offices are closed

I LOVE it!! That's just the point, these can turn out so differently. I'm glad you didn't hold back!

PS Jams are really great for breaking out of a rut. I'm sure many of you, like me, just get comfortable reaching for the same stuff all the time - the same colours, papers or whatever, but when you get a jam and have to work with what someone else has started, it can really make you stretch artistically.

Glad you like it, went out on a limb. I like doing jams too, I am just getting my feet wet in them, but it is a good challenge to use others ideas as a spring board. It makes you stretch your art muscle.
And I mailed this out to you today Misti

Here's the card by cdraz and adriayna. (I do have the card by penlowe and xraypinky but due to technical difficulties, I need to repair and rescan it. My scanner is having "issues" so the hubby took the cards to work to scan, but a bit had fallen off the card and didn't end up in the scan. I'll glue it back on and get a new scan)

I have mine from poeticpaper. I have an idea what I want to do. Just need to "study" on it a bit.

they really are aren't they. I just love seeing how differently each one turns out.

I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but I'm writing an article about this project for ATC Quarterly. I think they are planning on running the article in their Winter 2010 issue.

I don't know which images they'll use yet, there are so many fabulous ones to choose from!
