The Milwaukee ATC live trading group meets once a month. We don't have a set schedule but usually meet on one of the last two Saturdays of the month depending on other events and holidays. Our latest meeting info can be found here.

My dear friend and dance teacher is opening a restaurant this spring (barring any other catastrophes - cross your fingers) in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood, and wants to do a gallery showing sort of deal there. I showed her my album and she was pretty excited about it. I'll be organizing it, but without any kind of firm date for the place, I am hesitant to put out a call just yet.

I think there are a couple of other folks here living in greater suburban Chicagoland too - muppin, kathyy and I'm not sure who else. Good luck with your exhibit - keep us all posted!

Figured I'd bump this up in case there are other folks in SE Wisconsin looking for live trading. We celebrated our 4th year of monthly trades in 2011! (Started meeting in August 2007.)

Just giving this thread a bump - the Milwaukee ATC group will be meeting next weekend Sat. August 25, 2012 from 1-3 p.m. at Artist & Display (details on our group page here). This marks our 5th anniversary as we started in August 2007 at this same location!

In September, Kimberly Butts (AFA member kbutts) will be teaching a needlefelting workshop before our meeting on Sept. 22. Details are also on the webpage (scroll down to see upcoming meetings).

I'm just giving this a bump as I know there are some folks in Chicagoland who might be interested to know that the Milwaukee ATC group will be having our March 22, 2014 meeting in Antioch IL thanks to Cathy (kanteachart) arranging space for us at a store called Hannah's. 9 a.m. - We'll be having an ATC Make-a-Thon to celebrate our 10th Anniversary
1-3 p.m. (approx) ATC live trade & meeting

Since it's been awhile, I'm just posting to say the Milwaukee ATC group is still going. We had to do most of our monthly meetings via Zoom for the past year due to the pandemic but we hope to be able to meet in person again this summer as library meeting rooms reopen and most people get vaccinated.
