    Decos?

    Three Questions:

1.] Does anyone still pass decos around? Cause I just made a small book and would really love to have it worked in.

2.] How exactly does it work, do you send art in return for people working in them, or is just passed around freely?

3.] Is this where I should post this thread?

The theme is going to be birds & birdcages.
    Thanks guys!

    EDIT:
Making a list of who to send this to, let me know!

Have absolutely no idea but it sure sounds interesting. Keep me in mind when you get it going cause I think I'd like to play.

Okay...hmmm.. didn't see anything so made a post - hopefully some people will respond there with additional good information and sources!

My general experience has been that decos are passed about freely, with no set destinations. Round-robin organization lends a bit more structure, but I like the "Unknown" aspect of letting them loose

I was in a deco group where we followed a rotation schedule, getting a new deco each month to work in. It was fun, though some themes were challenging. We had a thread in the circle journals subforum, I think....not sure anymore as it was some years ago. Check in Mailart Trades for moley groups and circle journals...the stickies should be helpful.

Well if anyone would like to work in this deco, let me know and I'll add you to the list! I'm going to try to send out to the first person within this next week.

The book is a handmade book that I made with quite a few pages. I'd like the theme to be birds/birdcages, but it doesn't have to be explicitly JUST about that theme. As long as theres a bird or birdcage somewhere, I'll be happy.

I definitely wish to be included but would rather be in the middle of the pack somewhere. (Work better when I have inspiration from others!)

Oooh this is gonna be fun!

I'm game to try Decos. I haven't, previously, but bookbinding is something I do regularly, and some of them have been created to showcase inchies. Sign me up, please.
