Do you wish you had some new supplies?
Nothing expensive or outlandish (we'd ALL like a new set of prismas, but that's not what we are talking about here),
just some simple little doodads or stuff for your cards and art.
Here's the place to post your 'wishes'!!!
PLEASE read these RULES before you post here!:
POSTING A WISHLIST:
Make a wish list of no more than 5 items that fit these rules:
-5 simple things (ATC supplies, craft stuffs, little things) that you would like to have
-be as descriptive as you'd like (links are fine too!)
-each item needs to be LESS than $5. (US). LITTLE things, remember?
-when you have what you need (if someone sends it to you), go back and change the wish. If you still can use more of that item, keep the wish 'open'.
-EDIT your own list, keep it current: Go back to your post, click the 'edit' button underneath, it'll pull up the post. Just delete/change/add whatever you want, then save it.
-Make sure you GIVE REP POINTS for anyone who sends you a gift. Right away.
-You can only post ONE list in this thread. Do NOT add a new list.
-WHEN YOU RECIEVE A PACKAGE, post in this thread: Our 'Wishes Granted', thank-you gallery, to share with everyone and thank your 'wish fairy!'
-You may LINK to your list, with your post number (White number in the top of your POST bar) from your profile (use the 'wish list' field at the bottom) and/or your signature if you'd like.
GRANTING A WISH!
-Anyone can grant a wish, anytime.
-You may choose anyone on the list to grant a wish to!
-Do NOT post to the thread about the wish, just PM them to ask questions or get their address
-This is a GREAT way to destash your clutter, make someone happy, bless a friend, welcome a new member, share your great finds, etc!
-Grant a wish by seeing something on a list you want to gift, PM the member for their address, and send the gift!
-This is a RAK (random act of kindness), nothing should be expected in return. Even if you grant 5 wishes for 5 different people, no one may choose your wishes. Pick a new wish (something simpler), but don't whine about it. By granting the wish of another, this should be an act of charity; don't expect ANY thing in return. Hopefully you'll be surprised!
-Feel free to grant as many wishes as you'd like! Send that person everything on their list and more if you want to; your generousity is not limited.
-Also, sending anonymous gifts is fine too, if you want to be an 'angel'! Make it a mystery!
-If you are want to send a gift to a specific person and don't want to scroll through the list, do a search for their name in this thread...(scroll up, right under the RED BOX that says 'page 1 of 2', 'search this thread'....see it? )
Here's how it works (a sample list!)
I wish I had:
1) Magazine pictures of Frogs!
2) Watercolor pencils
3) magnets I can alter
4) bingo cards
5) printed address labels with my address on them!
Other examples of suitable requests:
beads, playing cards, stickers, vellum, cancelled postage stamps, envelopes, cardstock, ephemera, papers, asian themed collage, anything for ATCs with butterflies, ribbons, fiber scraps, eyelets, metal embellishments, ATC blanks, pink papers, a red sharpie pen, ATC clear plastic sleeves, buttons, rhinestones, paint pens, doilies, foreign language text, tickets, rubber stamps, alphabet stickers, calligraphy pen, self-sticky blank labels, magazine cut outs of babies heads, a ruler, funky shaped scissors, monkey stickers, colored envelopes, templates, address labels, coasters, chipboard, etc.....and any other found objects, art and craft supplies, and fun items that fall under the $5 limit!
The TRUE purpose of this thread is to BLESS other people with what you have; it's about SHARING!
Don't be greedy, remember: it's better to GIVE than recieve. (Mama always said, right? )
Now, go GRANT A WISH!
