I don't believe I left itraders for all my partners, which I'm going to fix right now! I also think I leave everyone itraders as the swap host, I'll pass those out once all groups are complete.

I think that's why I chose to use that one. It had the most vibrant colors of all the flowers I had printed. I have a couple with bumblebees, but the lily just sang out to me. It's cold and white here, too.

I digitally removed most of the color and then printed it on water color paper instead of photo paper. I then did all the outlines by hand (micron pen) and used colored pencils to shade. Once I was done, I realized that it printed too small! (YIKES)... so I found a 4x4 background that I had ready for a new project and mounted it on that! (WHEW!)

Still no word from Patti M on whether she received my page.

I still haven't received a page from Patti, either. Odd, because the pages she sent for the swap I hosted got here in less than a week after they were sent.

It's been fun, but it will be nice to wrap this swap up, just to more pages to be received!

OK folks- I am back from Limbo!! Penlowe and Cat- your pages should have arrived by today- or tomorrow I think. I mailed them on Sat. I am sorry I took so long but between the storms, loss of power in my home- followed by loss of laptop, followed by loss of heat and hot water- it has been HELL here!! Thank god for good friends who have housed me and my son on the coldest of nights here (went down to 9 degrees one night!)
Anyhow, all is finally well here and I sent the pages off to both. I will post pics later today!
CatsCradle- I received my wonderful page from you!! It was a wonderful way to complete my "blue" collection!!

    For Cats Cradle- animals
I used a close-up of my dog Wiz! He is a cairn terrier with a brindle-wheaten mix of hair and eyes that always appear blue in flash pics.
On the photo I flocked the nose, ears, and around the eyes in black. I accented the eyes with glitter, but the blue is from the pic! I used acrylics for the background and a mix of acrylics and brush opaque markers for the hair. Attached terrier shaped eyelets and fun furry fibers with doggy charms-

    For Penlowe- Trees
This was a picture I took of the pine tree in front of my home last winter. It was covered in ice and looked beautiful!
For this pic I covered the pine needles with diamond dust and opal prisma glitter. I used Bic and Sharpie markers to acent the needles and branches, and acrylic paints to create the snowy swirled background. I then added some snowflake brads to complete the snowy winter look.

When I get a chance I will post the original pics as well!
