How do you like your wireless scanner? I've been thinking about getting one but am not sure what kind to get.

I've got my flowers printed--not sure which one I'm going to use, but I have until the end of November to figure it out.

Next on my list: trees for Penlowe. I have some really cool papier mache trees that I made with my 11 year old. I might use those, since all our trees are still very green.

Thanks for the updates! Mine should go out tomorrow, just need to put some finishing touches on it.

Penlowe's hibiscus page came today, and I love it! You are going to have to share how you made that fabric paper, lol! It's beautiful, love the bright colors too!

Ooohhh.... Thinking it might have been Pennyquilter who posted up a link in the Art Discussions forum? a bunch of us yappers (regulars in the yap threads in the fun & games forum) followed suit and played with it. dmnh did some really awesome paper too, I've been meaning to ask her to swap some of hers for mine.

It's stupid easy and best done outside on hot days because it'll dry fast enough to cut up & use the next day. I laughed at the original blog instructions because she talked about it taking days to dry, not in south Texas in July it was ready for cutting in under 3 hours.

We still haven't had ideal weather for making the paper fabric. It's gotten cooler and wet again.

Mailed my chunky page out to catscradle today!
I forgot to take a picture, so maybe Melissa could scan it when she gets it.

Well finally!!! My page to Corrie04 went postal today. I had such fun finding rusty things at the boatyard last week that my chunky has pieces of 4 altered photos on it. I hope that doesn't break the rules- but I had so many pics from there I couldn't decide.

I started with a photo of a rusty metal door, then I used roll-on lace tape for the background which I also wrote on with a gel pen. I then attached a digitally tweaked photo of some rusty chain across the bkgrd. Next I attached dangling pictures of hooks and chains that I sparkled up w/ copper glitter, and attached my wishful mermaid that I colored with gel pens and attached all the items with copper wire curlicues. Added some fiber bits, decorated the back with another rusty metal door background, my info and a funny "Rust" quote. Hope Corrie likes it.! Oh- and the front says- "If she had wings she would break the chains that bind her here."
