What Can YOU Do With Silver Tape? ATC Swap: Due July 29th

What Can YOU Do With Silver Tape? ATC Swap: due July 29th

    Number of cards-3/3 or 6/6
Media-open but must use silver tape which will be mailed to you
Number of players-unlimited but must sign up by June 22nd

I have this silver tape which can be purchased at hardware stores. I have no idea what it really is for but it adds a wonderful shiny element to ATCs. You can peel off the backing and it sticks to almost anything including paper and fabric. It can be torn and has a nice white edge. I've used it with alcohol inks and stamped on it with Stazon inks.
Other possible combinations- fabric and tape.....tape and buttons.....tape and sequins....tape and texted paper....tape and rubber stamps.....tape and gears and ????.....torn tape and mulberry papers.....torn tape with tissue.....zentangling with permanent ink on tape......what else can YOU do with this silver tape?

    Directions-
    * Sign up by June 22nd.
    * PM me with your mailing address
    * silver tape will come to your mailbox
    * make 3 or 6 different ATCS, using some silver tape on each (you probably will
have left over tape for another time
    * put each in a plastic sleeve
    * PM me for my mailing address
    * send along cards +a self-addressed stamped business envelope + extra 44 cent
    stamp ( for US players)
    * I will cover international postage but you have to hustle as it will take longer for
    tape to come to you.
    * International players must send along a large address label. I will provide
    envelopes.

Who is ready to show me what they can do with silver tape?

Can we see a picture of it? You don't mean duct tape, right? This is something different? I'm having a hard time visualizing what you are using.

Sounds like it has some interesting possibilities.

Nancy, I take it the embellishments can be kind of bulky??

Nope, embellishments need to be flatish....unless you send along a lot of extra postage.

Art by Camilla, you will be getting tape in the mail. I really don't know what its used for....but its silver and its sticky and it tears well.

Actually I had not really thought of adding much in the way of embellishments. I have used this tape over small flatish things, like wire shapes...keys would be cool underneath....

Oh this could be a lot of fun. I've been wanting to try something with metal. So this is perfect. By the way how was the family visit?

When Rani and Diya played together well, it was wonderful. the 2 evenings when they screamed, yelled and ran through the house, it was terrible. But in the 5 days they were here, we went to the beach, water falls, for shave ice, the zoo, the macnut place, the cooky place, the Indian restaurant, pizza.....grownups minus me went to the botanical gardens and the vanilla farm for a tour and lunch. the company went to Volcanoes Natel park on their own and went out for pizza and shave ice again. Our son seemed to have thirds on all meals and his daughters ate next to nothing. It was a typical family visit, I guess. I did lots of art with the girls, and read lots of stories. The dog was worn out. We were worn out. and I'm sure when the adults went back to work on Monday and kids back to day care, they were all worn out, too! It was a good visit.
