I would love to have your Garden Gate, Anita!

Would anyone like a Golden Gate? Actually called Land's End, based on a photo my niece took a couple of weeks ago.

Next on offer -- Goleta Beach, California. I grew up on this beach, which was a 5 minute drive from my house, a 15-minute bike ride. In my 30s I worked in the UCSB library, which overlooked the beach, and I'd often spend my lunch hours walking here.

"Another Day in Captivity" - I'm sure that's what our dear Grantie thought as he looked out the window at all the birds flying around out house. Some of those birds were bald eagles, which was why he was always trapped inside. Knew too many people who lost their kitties to the eagles and the coyotes in our area.

Based on a tutorial from a book called 'If You're Bored With Watercolor, Read This Book' by Veronica Ballart Lilja:

Since the whimsical birds went over so well, here's a whimsical kitty. It and all the others are available. Let's see if I can keep this up through the new year! Seriously, we're putting our house on the market ASAP and I need to pack up my art supplies this weekend so the place looks like an HGTV photo shoot.

Hello? Hello? Is this mic on?
Has anyone checked with Guinness, because I'm pretty sure I've got the record for most number of consecutive posts on this thread without anyone choosing their art.
So, now, for your viewing pleasure through the end of October, I present art dedicated to my favorite holiday. Following that, through November, will simply be Autumn, and beginning in December I will start a display of Winter that will last through mid-March, with a brief interlude dedicated to my birthday in February. Mark it on your calendars, folks! But first, here's a little piece I've entitled "A-Haunting We Will Go" -

    A-Haunting We Go.jpg

I take requests and suggestions, folks, for both art and jokes. You can also ask for one of my pieces and end my streak!

I would love to jump in on this thread! Ancient Planter, I will take your Haunting card (although those blue birds are adorable too!). Who would like my Halloween-themed card: The Forest Goes Trick-or-Treating?
