Oh Locke, I've got that book but I haven't read it yet (all three in one, it's a brick). I'll have to pull it off the shelf!

Thanks Linda for sending me the link, I had completely failed to notice the thread. So I'm a wee bit behind. But never mind, I'll make up for it this weekend.

I've got the two creepy/dark/gothic ones up first, so that'll be a challenge for me. I might need to read some horror stories for inspiration. Any suggestions?

When it comes your turn to do my pages Lemurkat have a Tim Burton Marathon. creepy and dark without being too horrific and gorey if that helps any. Otherwise read a lil Poe, and you'll be fine.

I have never met another person in my entire life who has EVER read it. so I usually go out and BUY copies fo it for people I know. There is actually 4 books and the fourth ones isn't included in the big set! I have had two copies of the first three in soft back which I gave away to friends and I have the same one you're talknig about! The fourth book has beautiful artwork and if it weren't for those books I might not be alive today.

They came to me in a very hard time in my life before the fourth one had even come out and probably the wait for the last one was what kept me from hurting myself at that time.

The main character is well..there's too many uncanny resemblances between her and me...it's really scary. And the last page of the final book..I honestly feel the author stalked me and wrote a fantasy story of some things in my real life!

If you read it and have a hard time finding the last book I will send you mine if you don't mind sending it back. It's my most prized book of all time.

I have been into Paranormal Vampire type books lately. Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series and the carpathian "Dark" series. But both series are more sexy than creepy. LOL

There's a comic book for that too if you're short on time!

You could always hit up a bookstore right now..tis the season for spooky things...

There's a great Alfred Hitchcock collection of some of his best stories in one book if that is spooky enough for you Cx

Locke - maybe I could borrow it off you in LA and pass it back in Portland? It'd cost a fortune to ship. I'd be better off ordering it myself from the Book Depository Or getting it on ebook, if it's available. Better read the first three first, however.

Oh, the pages that have been posted so far are great!!!! Hmmm, I think I´m far from being so talented Maybe I need much more practice....

The first page for lemurkat is almost finished - need to add some more details and shadows. Still thinking about the composition for the second one...

That is gorgeous. Now Evalila, do you mind if it is kinda quirky-cute creepy? I'm thinking something Halloween themed. But I don't do dark and creepy nearly as well as I do slightly quirky.
