Play it Forward Paper Scraps!
Do you love paper scraps AND surprises? Then this is the PIF for you.
The way this works is as follows: I'll send a regular business sized envelope (about 4x9 inches, or 10 x 22 cm) full of paper scraps to the next person who signs up after me. That person will then send a business-sized envelope full of paper scraps to the person who signs up after him/her, and so on and so on!
What kind of paper scraps can you send? Unused ATC bases. Scraps of artist or scrapbook paper or wrapping paper. Paper napkins. Scraps of pages in foreign languages. Backgrounds. Used postage stamps. Ephemera. Images cut from magazines. Anything you can think of is fair to send, as long as it's PAPER and not dirty (torn & wrinkled are great, polluted is not)!!!! Your envelope should be comfortably full, but not so full that it will jam postal machines.
If you want to play, post in this thread, then PM the person above you with your address. You will receive an envelope of scrap paper from the person who posted directly above you, and you will send an envelope to the person who posts directly after you.
Important Guidelines
- Do not chat in the thread!
- Envelopes should be sent out within 7 days of being claimed
- Please leave iTrader ratings for the person who sent you the envelope full of paper.
- Send your envelope before claiming another
- Minimum iTrader rating of 3 to participate
- When you post your claim in the thread, please write "I would like USERNAME's paper. Who wants mine?" (where USERNAME is the person above you). This will help us all see what is going on and who is next.
Additional Clarifications:
- The contents of the envelop you send are entirely up to you. Recipients should expect a surprise, and should not ask for specific kinds of papers. Only participate if you like surprises!
- Participate as many times as you want so long as you follow the guidelines.
More on Envelope Size:
A business-sized envelope is about 4x9 inches, or 10 x 22 cm. It holds a 8.5x11 inch or A4 size piece of paper folded in thirds (the way a business letter is folded). In the USA, this size of envelope is called a #10, and I believe in Europe it is called DL.
