    December Pick-A-Theme Swap...Please read all of the instructions carefully before joining!

    [FONT="Arial"]To play in a PAT swap, you must have:[/FONT]
    • POSITIVE Itrader rating of 15+
      No negatives within the past 6 months
      No neutrals for lack of communication within the last 3 months
      Once you sign up, you may not withdraw. Players start work on their cards right away

    There are no exceptions to these rules.

    1. Post to the thread, stating which group you want to join and your theme
    2. You may join one or two groups
    3. You have 3 days to post your chosen theme
    4. Make a card for each person in your group in their chosen theme
    5. Cards must be standard ATC size, 2.5x3.5
    6. Cards must be FLAT! No brads, eyelets, or beads
    7. When you are ready to mail your cards, please PM me for my address
    8. I will leave you I-trader when I recieve your cards
    9. Put each card in a plastic sleeve
    10. On back of cards please put your username, group number, and recipients username
    11. On back of envelope mailed to me please put group number and username
    12. If you are in the US, SEND A SASE (I believe postage is going up in January) put 1 stamp for one group and 2 stamps for 2 groups
    13. I will cover postage for international players but please send an addressed return envelope
    14. On all return envelopes please fill out return address corner and put username and group number on back of envelope
    15. When you recieve your returns leave I-trader for me and each player in your group or groups

    Theme Descriptions

    Easy themes: It is easy to think up a card. ex. are cats, dogs, fairies, flowers, etc.

    Regular themes: It is easy to think up a card, find a reference for it, or an image for a collage. ex. are flying pigs with hats, red poppies, zetti, whimsical houses, etc.

    Advanced/challenging themes: Usually require research and reference, require substantial thought and effort, or themes that can be challenging to interpret like music or poetry. ex. are poetry by Edgar Allen Poe, dogs from Victorian England, altered Mona Lisa, Things found in a Medical Journal, etc...

    I would like Group 3 with the theme of German Shorthaired Pointers hunting

    I would also like Group 5 with the theme of dogs in outer space. (I would expect this to be a digital creation/photoshop picture...you do not have to shoot your dog into space and take a picture LOL :)

    and group 2 or 3 Pics inspired by the Song of Ice and Fire books by George R. R. Martin (characters, scenes, etc.)
     
    Oh, yeah, your right. I guess group 3 with the Song of Ice and fire (is that advanced enough?) Or it could go in group 8 if it's not advanced.

    Sorry for the delay on posting this PAT...Had to make a sudden trip to Texas because my father was sick and passed away yesterday...Thank you for your patience...I think this will be a great PAT...really awesome themes!!
