Swap Title: HD/HP Mexican Loteria Swap
Swap Due Date: Cards in my hands by April 23th
Signup/Withdraw date: No sign ups or withdraws ...just send in your cards on time if you want to play!
Number of Cards: 3 for 3
Number of participants: unlimited
Media: hand drawn or hand painted only

Ahh, Mexico. Warm sun, gentle breezes, hot men, and a great game of bingo! Loteria cards are part of Mexican bingo the fun part!

For this swap you will draw or paint TRADITIONAL Loteria cards... you can find the whole list of cards here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotería_(board_game))

BE CREATIVE! Don't just copy the loteria card art...do something different, but stay within the theme. Doing the Soldier? Do a Zombie Soldier. The Pear? How about a zentangle pear. Be sure to have the CARD NAME and CARD NUMBER on each card. See my examples for La Dama (the Lady) and La Sirena (the Mermaid).

Hi Debs,

I'm fairly new on the site; sent in 3 cards for a swap with Jewels and am excitedly waiting to get cards back :) I have always wanted to do something with Loteria cards so would love to join this swap!

Ha! Regarding fortune telling, no wonder I had a hard time trying to figure out the connections between a watermelon, a pear, and a scorpion...

I see that Oddbreed is the resident harasser...
