how do you choose who to send to?
how do you make sure everyone gets a chance?
if I start a new JAM, it says "for your 1st ones, you are limited to 2" what does that mean?
(I can only start 2 new ones?)

you can or you can put a little something on them as long as you leave enough room for 2 other people to add something

how do you choose who to send to?

you may send to whoever you want. I usually make sure they have been on recently. If you have favorites you like you can send only to them. There is no rule on sending.

how do you make sure everyone gets a chance?

Since there were so few of us before it was not a problem. Now I am not sure. I plan on keeping track of who I send to and making it a different person each time. I suppose if you want cards you can post in the thread letting everyone know you are open to getting some. You might get lots that way............

Does anyone who has been doing this for longer than me see any reason why our new players should be limited to 2? I would think they could send out as many as they want to keep track of. If we limit them to 2 then they are at the mercy of 4 other players until those 4 get the cards back to them.

I havent done ANYTHING since the val-a-thon in Feb. , so I am starving for some art.
so here goes, Im stepping into the deep end and starting some of my own.

I am about ready to jump in too...but have one more question....Are all three of them supposed to be alike? meaning if I am #1, do I make 3 of the backgrounds alike? if I am # 2 and #3 do I add the same images to all three cards...That might be difficult for me, as I prefer to collage and finding 3 images alike would be almost impossible.....

I don't see how that would be much fun... I HD almost everything and don't enjoy replication...

Yes, the point is to make them alike so all three people get similar cards.

That said, a lot of people, myself included, have broadened 'similar cards' to be related cards not exactly the same.

I add the same thing to each one but as long as they are similar and look sort of like a set it should be ok.

If someone gets them and does not want to work on them they can always send them on to someone else!

Okay, I've been getting all these RRs I've got stacked up done and will soon be sending some on to #3s and some back home. Is the address list up to date?

The last list I sent was up to date except for Nancy who had not committed yet. I will be taking care of that soon.

Unless anyone who didn't reply to my 1st post has moved all the addresses are good.

Since no one has commented on the limit of 2 starters to begin with I am going to go out on a limb here. I will remove that line from the beginning and hope it does not come back ro bite me in the you know where.

Let's all just be mindful of who we are sending to and try not to oversend to anyone else.

If anyone feels they are getting overwhelmed let me know and we can put you in a homers only status until you are caught up.

The most important part of this whole group is to have fun with it.
