I want it all and I want it now! No limitations please except those we set for ourselves. Please don't limit the new players' participation. I would love to see new sets going out to all active jammers from all active jammers!
LOCA: im adopting your phrase "jamtastic" fun. thanks
Yay! You're welcome
Speaking of... I am still curious what JAM stands for? I looked on the AFA acronym list and it's not listed. I guessed 'Joint Art Making', but that's strickly a guess. Does anyone know??

I never even thought about it. Just thought of it as kinda like a jam session w/ a few people working together to get it done. Love your description though. When I started jamming there were no round robins. There was only one card that went out and the person that started it then made photocopies and sent them back to the other two. I'm not sure but I think it was our Maggie that came up w/ the RR concept. Whomever it was I'm glad they did because I didn't care for getting the photocopies. Originals are much better.

That was my understanding of jams...that it was like musicians jamming. Sometimes they were three and sometimes four players, and the person who started them then sent copies. I think things shifted more to round robins so that each person would get a "real" card (though most jams were high-quality copies) and also saved the step of getting them copied. RRs seem to have better odds of everyone getting returns.
Xstitcher, when you have time, would you update the first post to say by my name what Maggie says....just send me anything. Thanks!
And I'm getting these cards that I received from TF and Big Toe in the mail to #3s. (Sheesh, I think I got so much in my right brain in the studio that I'm having trouble putting words together. Hopefully, I am making some sense.)

backgrounds recieved from big toe studio, gorgeous colors! who do they go to after me? this is my first round, jam...bear with me~
If you are the second person you may send them to anyone on the list who does not have homers only by their name.
If you are the third person you send 2 back to the 1st person and keep 1 for yourself.
That is the beauty of this thing, not to many rules.
