This week I got Lemay's Daisy Gerbera and Lilbad's Stargazer and Sunflower. I thought I'd add them here to have some eye candy on the thread. Thanks for the trade ladies!

I know, and Lemay's Daisy Gerbera has the most extraordinary detail, there's shading in all the petals not matter how small!

I'm working on a rose right now if you would like it. I am collecting state/province/country flowers. Would you mind making me the flower of Guatemala?
-
I am not sure you are asking me , but I can make you a "Monja Blanca". Do you have a rose already? I can make you one also.
-
I'd love a rose Jitterbug, and I'll gladly do my country flower for you. Elena already mentioned it, it's called "Monja Blanca" which means "White Nun" and it's a type of rare orchid. Here's a pic.

Elena, I'd love to trade for your hibiscus and will do one back for you -or do you have something else on mind?
-
jklee, an hibicus would be perfect, thanks
Sorry for the confusion. On my previous post I though it was you instead of Jitterbug who was asking for the Guatemala flower

That's great Elena.
I will put the trading on this thread on hold for a while, I want to get Elena's, Jitterbug's, Xstitcher's and other cards I owe out of the way before getting into more trades.

Certainly is a pretty little thread you have going on here.
-
It is, I'm hoping to get more trades going by the end of next week. I'll keep you posted!

Ok, it seems I was able to get ahead of some of my most pressing commitments - it was a holiday yesterday and I took advantage of it!. I finished the hibiscus for Elena and my national flower for Jitterbug.

Elena's hibiscus done in marker.

This is my country's national flower for Jitterbug. The background is done with acrylics and the orchid itself is done with prisma color pencils.
I'm ready for more trades!

If you know what a wild rose is (has 5 petals) I could paint one for you if you like.
-
I just PMed you Kelly, I'll have to put this on hold until next year. I'm overworked at the moment.
