and Odd throws another red head into the mix. Cannot wait to corrupt her.

Art horder confessions: I once ran out of stuffing and resorted to dryer lint, which was great until emphatic art buddies started leaving bags of dryer lint on the front door knob.

ok....Attachment 117834Porcelain doll head (thrift store...actually bought the whole doll, sitting on a cute little wooden chair, outfitted with a music box!!!...so I got 3 things for 1.99 AND I got arms and legs left over!!! ha ha)...Obviously in need of some kind of brain bucket since I rip off her wig...
Torso and arms: remnants of this art project of Angels dressed in gowns made out of vintage christianing dresses, with wooden wings...my friend and I sold most of them but I still had partial bodies!...(I didn't even have to pull out my sewing machine!)
Attachment 117833Legs: plastic lab tubes...attached to the bodies by putting them on the corks...removable for shipping!

    GOING YOUR WAY NANNER!!!
Her name is wild & crazy ECLECTICA!!!

Very clever Helene! Love what you have done and the lab tube.....so cool! I forgot to mention that most of the bead thing hanging from my dolls back is from something I found walking so glad I found a good use for it!

You know me too well....("Bonnie will never run out!")...haaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Actually, this one is going in my memory bank as a useful tip. I remember years ago, someone at our county fair won a blue ribbon for collectin dryer lint...he won the most unusual hobby award! I've also used it in paper making for texture and color.

problem with dryer lint is that it is mostly grey.

which ironically is the same color as belly-button lint.

Bad pet hair story. My mother once sent me a trout-sized wad of cat hair she had brushed off her cats. It was a gift for my cats, something interesting for them to "sniff".

My cats were incredulous, their little noses out of joint as if to say, What we don't shed enough hair, you have to import it!?!?"

Hahaha. I can just picture it.

Here's my silly cat doll. Sitting amongst the mess on my craft table. She's made from a Campbell's soup can. The head and feet are ceramic. I made them years ago, they were stuffed away in a box.
Not sure about a name yet. Any suggestions?

Yep. It has a little door with hinges on her tummy. My brother helped me make up the can. You can put whatever you like inside.
