Gosh, I'm still a little over-active - sorry if I bother anyone with it!
As it is, I found the box that needs to be checked.
You open your UserCP. On the left-hand side, there's a string of things to click - you click "Edit Options". Then you find the box with the topic Messaging & Notification (it's the second one from the top), and look through it until you read "Private Messaging". There's the box that says "Enable Private Messaging", and it needs to be checked! You save the changes and the PMs should work... I hope.
If you have the box checked and it still doesn't work, one of the mods needs to help!

It's not complicated at all, really, just three clicks - I'm just so bad at phrasing it understandably! ^^° That's the down-side of not being a native speaker of English.

I sent out 3 sets of cards today. I was player #2 on all three sets. I think I set a set to Nancy, CeeJay and HeyMaggie. So, be on the look out ladies. I'm excited to see how you will finish them off.

I have found a bit of time and have been able to stitch up a couple of things for cards.

If we get the snow we are promised tomorrow I may declare it stitching day and get the rest of them stitched, then finished and in the mail when I can get back out of my house.

I really want to get off the homers list, but feel so guilty and embarrassed I can't just yet. I have had some cards for months. That is no way for a leader to lead.....................

Yes - signed up and received a list.... let the fun begin - as a newby to this I'll just wait (can hardly wait though) for a first set to work on - to see what a start-up set can look like (and peak at galleries to see what the endresults can be ... Done something like this in the distant past but that was a loooooong time ago.
