Fable, fabrication, fiction, invention; cloud-cuckoo-land, cloudland, steampunk, Shangri-la, utopia; daymare, nightmare, castles, fairiers, orcs, trolls, dragons, unicorns, mermaids, sea serpents, martians, werewolves, vampires, wizards, zombies, demons... there is something for everyone. Well maybe I should clarify that we are not talking adult sexual fantasy here.
To show off journal page art most people purchase an 8x8 Scrapbook with clear pockets to slide the pages into.
A few simple rules:
• Use your best effort
• Keep your pages flat (bulky no embelishments)
• Make sure they’re cut accurately and in the correct size: 8” x 8”
• Place in a plastic pocket page or bag for protection
• Make sure pages are dry (paint, sealers, etc.) before you place them in plastic
• DO NOT FOLD OR BEND PAGES
Feel free to sign and date the front of your pages if you wish.
On the back of both pages should be the following info (at a minimum):
* title if you have one for the page
* Your username and realname
* Your geographic location
* the date
(optional) Add a little note about what kind of fantasy you like or don't like. It might help in trading out the pages.
Mailing:
• Mail all pages in an envelope large enough to hold 8x8 pages without folding them. DO NOT BEND OR FOLD
• if using a paper envelope cut a couple pieces from a cereal box to sandwich the pages and protect them, or you can use a photo type mailer envelope.
• ALL participants: Please label the back of your envelope; with your username, and 8x8 pages
• US participants: Please include postage (or $ no coins) equal to the mailing cost of sending it.
• All participants: A Clearly Printed, large Address label or paper (I have packing tape). I will reuse your envelopes if possible, and it needs to be able cover the old address.
• International participants: If you have; some postage or dollars great…. but know that if you are without any of that, play anyway. I’ll have you covered. Just be sure to include a label with your mailing address.
When your cards are finished, PM me for my addy.
A Hostess page in the theme is not required but I'd love to add your art to my book. I have not been doing much collage lately so I really do not need paper bits and such, thanks anyway, but no thank you.
