This will starting cooking in the nest few weeks as we all realize - Great way to get really cool holiday gifts for friends. That is if you can stand to part with them once you have them in your collection. But one must learn to practice the art of generosity in this season of jolliness.

I had a hard time sending my peg dolls! But, now I love the collection I got back and I don't think I can let them go. And my domino dolls are so lovely but I have to hide them or hang them in the sky- our little Gesso Talullah Keller is crazy about them. And now I am wondering about our tree this year????

When one of my daughters was almost 2 and had just started walking (she has a mild case of CP) So DH stapled the tree down to a big square of plywood that I covered with fabric. She grabbed on about half way up on the branchs and sat backwards and the tree sort of bent at the middle, I was worried that she would get hurt so I yelled let go. She did and the tree started going fwap fwap back and forth heaving ornaments with each sway. She thought that was hysterical. Thank goodness we had used all cloth and unbreakable ornaments that year

Still lurking myself as well! I love the idea and have plenty of dominos to work with and also thought of some ideas but will have to find the time to experiment first.. Entering an extremely busy period though come tomorrow so not sure this will happen in time for the swap but if not I DO want to thank you for planting the idea in my head as I love it
Currently out of commission thanks to the arrival of our beautiful miracle rainbow baby

Well we only have one more domino swap to go this year- Altered domino keys. Next years Object de Art will be button. So you can start collecting them from yard sales, thrift stores, in the washing machine, on the ground. You will need a lot of buttons, all colors, all sizes, all shapes. Do you want it to be a surprise or do you want to know what we're going to make.

I've been lurking, but wanted to be sure that I had time for my current commitments.

However....Somehow I've been able to sketch out my concepts and have bits and pieces of them painted at least...so I'm gonna still lurk until they're done. Just to be on the safe side.

Ok, now that I'm done with my twisted Christmas ornaments for nanner's swap, I'm going to start on my dominos. Now I just need to figure out what I want to do.

    Hmmmmmmmm, OK, I'll bite.

I didn't have many dominoes when I packed mine in storage, so I'll just go find some more. I want to get in on the last domino swap, too, so I feel justified in coming up with more dominoes!

We said we weren't putting up the tree this year - it's gone to storage, so I need to hang lots of Christmasy stuff, so we'll still have the Holiday feel. These will be perfect!

At the holidays a neatly decorated tree and cinnamon smell says "I'm home buy me" Get rid of the extra chair and not the tree, maybe? Everytime we've sold a house, I baked every morning I thought someone was coming to look at the house. One house was a bear to sell, but it was because of the craptastic realtor. I fired him and had an offer the next day. Another I only had to bake one day.

But anyway you look at it I'm really happy to have you. Did you see that I put pics on the first page since there were questions?
