Another envelope opened! Got a homer from theatrerachel (me/palmira/theatrerachel) along with a set to finish, started by heymaggie. It might be a few days before I can work on the set - not sure my brain will be functioning well for a while

Okay, the last of the envelopes opened and sorted - and I have lovely finished cards from CeeJay/me/theatrerachel, JAD/me/prayeratnight and kentuckydakota/me/nancy. I also have two sets of starters from angelmuz to add to my pile of things to be worked on. Looking forward to tackling that pile in the next few days. In the meantime, I think I'm caught up on all my iTraders, but if you are missing one from me for a card I've definitely mentioned in the forum, let me know - I can't promise my brain is totally functioning yet after all that travelling!

Lotsa mail this week. homers from x-stitcher and LauraM540, Ceejay and LauraM540, Maggie and LauraM540....thanks Laura for sending all the seconds home for me! Got the Clue set from CynthiaS...have an idea, now to see if I can do it. Starters from CynthiaS also arrived before... that I have a plan for and will send them along with StoneFX's marbled background.

Hot and muggy here in San Diego...ugh....stay cool and happy arting over the long holiday weekend all...
I've been amazed by those shaving cream backgrounds, too. It looks like it's a high gloss paper? It amazes me that they don't curl. Are they just kind of picking up color without absorbing a lot?

Bah. Been on hols for a week (with very limited internet access) but am back now and was surprised to see no updates on the RRR thread in my subscriptions... then I checked the thread and realised we'd rolled to a new thread!

I've got a bit of a backlog of cards to get sorted but am planning to get them finished and sent out within the next week or two (bit of a crazy week ahead as DD1 is starting full-time school - with a staggered start where she does a morning on one day, an afternoon the next day, then goes onto full days - and we're also hoping to complete on the sale of our old house on Friday! Eep!

Anyhoo... just to keep you all up to date, the cards I currently have are:

Watercolour background with leaf stamping by Big Toe Studio and Ferretgirl
Patterned paper and die-cuts cards by Angelmuz and mzspurslasso
Two sets of altered playing cards by Castlequeen5
Pink and patterned paper background by Kentuckydakota
Newspaper and hand drawn/coloured card by ineedtocreate and Kentuckdakota

I think I also need to leave some itraders... am I right in thinking that for each completed set of RRR cards I take part in I need to leave itrader for the other two participants?

Yup, you got it exactly right, Alipeeps! Each co-artist gets an iTrader from you.

The silver foil...actually aluminum tape cards can be embossed with a stylus if you like.

Cynthia...if you have the really shiny(like photo paper) backgrounds...those are made with alcohol inks. The shaving cream background papers are more like cardstock.

I hear you on the waiting 2hours for a second...and third i trader...LauraM540...more coming your way.
I'll teach anybody anything I know, I just don't want to work.

Oh, ok. Yeah, I was thinking of the alcohol ink cards.
