    Hey Ali,

I have a shoebox with my art stuff goes that I keep the envelopes holding the ATC's I need to work on. After I work on them I have 2 tacs holding up a plastic thing that i put the to go out cards in. I wasn't as organized in OHIO. MaryAnn remembers me stressing over the fact that I couldn't find the cards I completed. LOL so i know how ya feel.

OKAY open question to the forum. A few times I've received all 3 cards back after they were finished. Ones I started. Is that the protocol? Or does the 3rd person send the other 2 the cards (that's what I've been doing).

I'm guessing that was a mistake. The third player should keep theirs and send you the other two.

As I understand it the 3rd person only sends two to the starter. That leaves an empty space I sometimes fill with a 3rd card...a RAK. Not always, mind you...just sometimes. If I am 3rd and mess something up, that is the card I keep. It has happened a few times.
I'll teach anybody anything I know, I just don't want to work.

Received two nice RR envelopes today - one some homers back from prayer at night (on a French text background); the other one chock full of three things - the Henry VIII homers, which I love, a card I worked on second and another set for me to finish up (lindagiese/cynthiasillitoe). Lots of fun stuff!

and I was doing it wrong. I was keeping 1 and sending the other 2 one to each person. Thanks for straightening me out and sorry to all those that I did it wrong to. Also I have 1 set I have been pondering on over a week and just can't think of anything to put on the card. (I only draw I don't have collage materials) and can't find room or think of anything to draw on it. Do I just send it on to someone else?

Yes, you can send on cards that have you stumped.

I got a bunch of homers and finished cards from Linda Giese today!

Sure Linda. I don't have a clue on how to do it and would love to learn. I don't have a lot of cash to buy stuff with. So nice of you!

Mace, your addition to the black crow card looks great - looking forward to seeing those come home

Got a nice envie myself today, from JAD - three different things. A set to finish from castlequeen/JAD and two sets of homers, both oriental (though neither starter was specifically oriental) - and both great - one with koi (me/tandy/JAD) and one with Japanese kanji and ladies (me/bigtoestudio/JAD). Looking forward to working on some more cards soon!

I thought homers were people that aren't playing. So what are sets of homers. Boy I feel like I should know this. Envie is envelope right? Translator please!

Glad you like the sign the crow is holding. Took me awhile to figure out what to add to it

Homers are completed cards coming back to you. People on the homers list only want homers sent to them, not new cards to wok on. And yes, envie is envelope.

Ooh, expect an envelope of stuff from me, too. I have more than I'll ever use. Collage is a very forgiving medium and also a nice balance to drawing. I kind of alternate between the two so I don't burn out on either.

Homers are finished cards. The "homers only" list is people you should only send finished cards (that they either started or worked on) to and not new stuff. Envie is envelope. Addy is address. Or snail addy is mail address. What else?

I can send you some collage stuff too if you want. I have a craft room full of bits and bobs laying about.

Collage is fun... you can use anything and just play about with it. You can even print out clip-art/graphics etc and use those or snip pictures from magazines and catalogues.

There's a good blog that posts loads of free-to-use vintagey images that can be good for collage - it's called the Graphics Fairy: http://thegraphicsfairy.com/

    Another set done

So far the working on ATC's on Saturdays and doing homework and studying on Sundays is working out. Thanks for everyone who is sending me collage stuff. Much appreciated. Now tell me how to do it LOL

I finished this set up. Vicky started them and Jad added the flower. I drew the corn of cob on it to finish it.

    Mace.
